Got in touch with Mark through Homestars. Noticed inside leaking around window frames. He came right out straight away to look at the inside damage and the roof itself. He gave a thorough and honest assessment that matches much of what other contractors said. But Mark went the extra mile - he walked me around the property to show me broadly what he noticed and his proposed fixes and then backed it up with multiple shots on his phone.

He drew up the quote within a day and since it was a semi, did you a joint quote if my neighbour wanted to do their side too - Mark rightly assessed the roof for the whole building was done at the same time. He worked with the neighbor separately as well, and helped facilitate getting the whole job done.

His crew came on the agreed date, were on time and got straight to it. The job was thorough and well done - I've monitored the places I've noticed leaks and water damage and am seeing nothing new. The guys wrapped up the whole roof replacement in a couple days and left the property clean. I had my gutters redone last year, and they carefully worked around them. Heard stories about some roofers just pulling and replacing gutters then charging extra. Not a worry here.

Both during and after Mark was immediately responsive to questions and was very detailed and kind in good explanations, especially to me a first-timer. He gave Frank and honest assessments and entertained all possibilities, but has good about scolding how things worked so I understood the process and end result.

Mark and coverall take pride in their work so it's like your home is theirs. He has followed up with me twice since the install in Late March just to see how things are. Tempted to just invite him to swing by for a beer, who can say that about a roofer?
