My old walkway was a combination of wood and stone that did not match. It was also overgrown with weeds and you could not see the flowers. Chris and his hard workers designed my walkway and gave me that nice garden on the side taking care to get rid of the weeds that were deep in the ground. With a last minute design change by Chris adding a circle in my walkway set the tone for the most beautiful walkway on the street. Chris and his crew also designed the pattern on my back patio. I would highly recommend their expertise work.

Chris and his team were great. Chris' customer service was exceptional. Whatever you read on other reviews are very accurate. The experience we had was exactly like the episodes you see on T.V. which shows the contractor going over and beyond in every aspect to give you what you want.
I would not hesitate to recommend his services and will be calling him for other work we would like done.

We just completed a total re-design of the front of our house. Chris Taylor was amazing throughout the design and implementation of the work. Chris drew up the design plans and sent them to us to review. We made a couple of small changes and Chris had no problem with the changes, he made the changes to the plan then visited us with multiple samples of product for us to choose from. He was very helpful in this process. Chris and his crew showed up at the house and worked very quickly and professionally. As safety is always a concern, they used pylons and tape to make sure the area was cordoned off. Even during construction I asked for some additional stone to be used and Chris had no problem with the request. Chris and his crew are very conscientious, they even went to my neighbors and suggested they move their cars while they were cutting stone to avoid getting dust on their cars. Within 3 days of completion, I have had 4 of my friends ask for Chris's umber to get quotes for their homes. I would HIGHLY recommend Chris and his crew for any landscape and construction !!!!

This is the second time we have used TLC. We were so impressed with the front walkway they did for us a couple of years ago, TLC was the only company we considered for our backyard project. Chris and his team were on time, efficient, polite, and finished the job on time and on budget. Despite the construction work, when they left, you would not have known they had been there. The cleanup was fantastic, and at the end of it all we were left with nothing but a gorgeous new patio. We have already recommended TLC to several friends and neighbours.

We had our backyard, front porch, walkway (interlocking) and landscaping completed in August. Chris was absolutely amazing from the beginning of the process to the end. We moved into our home in the end of June and noticed our neighbour next-door had a beautiful Patio. Knowing we wanted to create a living space in our backyard we asked them who did their interlock patio. They told us that they had looked around and came across TLC on homestars. They were very happy with the service and workmanship that Chris and his company provided and highly recommended them to us.
I had emailed Chris to let him know we would love to have him come take a look and give us some ideas of what we could do with our backyard. From the day we met him he was very professional and straightforward and never pushy.
He listened to our ideas and drew up some rough plans based on our budget. Once we had decided on the work to be done he gave us a catalogue of the product he uses and had it sectioned according to price tiers. The whole process was fantastic - he came out from Ajax on the weekend to meet with us and show us the different types of stones that he uses and gave us a few to keep in the backyard so we could look at them in all lights and compare until we had made up our mind.
We thought that we weren't going to be able to have him start on the job until October as he was booked until fall. But fortunately for us he had an opening the first week of September and would be able to fit us in. He and his crew started their prep the Friday before the long weekend and started the job the following Tuesday. Everyday they made sure to clean up at the end of the day and left their tools and supplies neat and tidy and out of our way. The amount of preparation that they put into the foundation of the patio was truly mind boggling. I can see how he is able to guarantee his workmanship because he does it right every step of the way.
We are so very happy with our new patio and custom staircase!!! It is truly gorgeous! We are extremely satisfied with his work and would HIGHLY recommend TLC to anyone who is looking for a quality interlocking patio or landscaping. Thanks Again to Chris and his team. Chris and his team just completed a remodel of my front steps, sidewalk and garden. This project exceeded my expectations and I am so incredibly pleased with the outcome. Taylor Landscaping is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. They are consummate professionals, ensuring I was satisfied with their work every step of the way. Chris and his team just completed a full back yard project at my residence and without a doubt they have created a backyard oasis that i am proud to show off Chris ,Kyle and Jason worked extremely hard on this project although i was not present most of the days they were here, the job got completed on time and budget.Chris took the time every night to call me and report progress and any issues that occurred which he resolved in a timely and professional manner, if i could rate Chris higher on here i certainly would he will be back in the near future for additional projects.Thanks again

Chris and his crew are an easy 10/10! They came highly recommended to my wife and I. It was obvious that he was the right choice for us early in the process. He showed up on time for our consultations. He provided lots of great ideas and made the process simple. He also has the best warranty in the business. He digs a deeper base than anyone else which is worth the cost. I have seen patios that do the bare minimum and they do not last. Chris does it right and backs his work.

The designs he gave us were great. The hardest part was debating which one to choose. After some conversations he made revisions and managed to come up with a design that made both my wife and I happy.

Originally the timeline was for mid-summer. We found that the best landscapers are booked well in advance which makes sense because they are worth the wait. After finishes a few of his other projects ahead of schedule he was able to squeeze us in earlier which was greatly appreciated.

They showed up on time every day and worked long hard days. My neighbours told me that Chris knocked on their doors at the start of the project to let them know that there would be some noise and dust and that an issues could be brought straight to him. This scored us some serious brownie points with our neighbours.

They ended up finishing the job a day ahead of schedule even though we surprised Chris with a few late additions to the project. He accommodated them with ease even though it took some design revisions from him late at night. We always felt like we were a priority.

Their pricing is very fair. He also offered us quite a few budget saving ideas to keep costs under control. Early on he had notified us that much of the planning/budgeting was based on worst case scenario. As the project evolved there were a few opportunities to eliminate some costs had we have chosen to do so. Our project came in on budget and could have come in under budget if we had chosen to take him up on some of the cost saving options. You can trust that there will not be surprise or hidden fees. You will also get a top quality product that will last. Worth every penny.
