It has been 4 weeks and this contractor promises to come and finish the job and doesn't show up, sets an agreed time and sends other contractors at a different time. The job is still not finished. The contracror NEVER answers his phone, gives excuse after excuse after excuse as to why things are not finished as to why he doesn't show up...etc. We have tried to be patient and easy going but today was the final straw when he sent a contractor who wasn't prepared. It is not the fault of the people he sends. This contractor who is extremely young and in experienced has no sense or capacity for time management. He is good at determining and fixing leaks, but he is not reliable. We used him because we could not find anyone who would help eith water leaks. The contractor agreed to repair the leak and any damage he made in the process - for example window frame, drywall...etc. This is when things went very bad. He tries to fix things he is inexperienced with and that should be done by licensed professionals ie. electrical. Which he was prepared to leave cut and joined back in 2 spot wires until we brought it to his attention that the law in Canada says you cannot. He leaves his job sites horrendously messy and is unreliable. We are very sad that it has come to this as we are very honest people who just wanted a job done in a timely, professional manner and we are so disheartened by this . We are finished with this contractor and now have a huge mess to fix.
