APPROXIMATE COST IS NOT ACCURATE - I didn’t want to put it in, but I can say that the cost is comparable to other providers, but if you read below you’ll see that they are worth top dollar.

This is a first-class operation from start to finish. A lot of nice customer service details. After requesting a quote via the website, Dannii contacted us to set up a date/time. She was fantastic to deal with. We had a very good experience with the quoting process, as Nate took the time to carefully consider the best way to install everything for fit and finish taking into account some of our concerns, and others that we hadn’t even thought of. Great communication about install timings and information on the technicians prior to their arrival. Christian and Aidan did our furnace install and prepped it for AC in the spring. These technicians were respectful, tidy, hard-working and very informative, taking extra time to explain how to work our new thermostat panel, and everything else we needed to know. No question...this is the company to go with!

Distinct Heating and Cooling installed our furnaces 3 years ago. They were knowledgeable, courteous and the installation was immaculate.

Ed D. has been servicing our furnaces on a yearly basis since then. He is the best! He was able to identify an issue we hadn’t noticed yet. He replaced the part and just came for an other yearly service and checked it again. He is knowledgeable, contentious and friendly. Highly recommend!!

Today we had our annual furnace and AC inspection and service. The technician, Ed DeGracia is very professional and always does a thorough job. We highly recommend Distinct Heating and Cooling for any HVAC work and we have always been very pleased with the job that Ed does on our HVAC system.

I can’t say enough good things about Distinct. We first used them several years ago when one of the furnaces in the house we just moved into started to leak (they were only a couple years old). Luckily the previous owner had a warranty/service plan and Distinct went above and beyond to help us get it transferred over to our name. Ever since then we’ve used them for our annual maintenance. They are always professional, on time, and provide exceptional service. We’ve had the same technician, Ed, doing our service for a while now which is an added bonus since he knows the maintenance history and provides recommendations that I trust. All round a top notch company!

We recently moved into a home that was built in 1987 and was in need of a new furnace...which caused me to start researching someone to do this massive job. I came accross a recomendation for Nate (Distinct Heating and Cooling) through a neighbourhood information site. We had Nate come in to give me an estimate (first of all that is the sign of a good company to work with...it was the owner how came to do the estimate and not just a "sales guy".) Nate took the time to answer all questions and gave honest answers. We knew we were dealing with more of a challenge replacing two furnaces from a house and with new permits had to get a little more creative. We felt good from the beginning that we were getting someone in our home who was going to do the job right and not cut corners. Sure enough...we have just had his crew in for the last few days and we are so impressed by the finished job. Two new furnaces, a hot water tank and new venting. The area was cleaned up and Christian was meticulous. You can tell that everyone working for Nate takes pride in their work. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with this company and will be using them again if the need arises.

I just wanted to let you know how wonderful it was to deal with Distinct. I had called in an emergency 2 days ago after hours and the gentleman that answered my emergency was very professional, explained everything to me, let me know when to expect a call the next day; a pleasure to deal with. That passed on to the next day when I received a call exactly when I was told in the morning and they scheduled me in that same day! The service techs showed up literally to the minute of when they said they would and they were VERY professional, informed me of everything they were doing and let me know pricing. I do too work in the service industry and your service is top notch and definitely something i will be measuring others as well as even my own service skills to. No point in calling anyone else for Heating and Cooling service, Distinct is the go to company!

We decide to have Distinct Heating & Cooling replace our furnace after meeting with Nate. Nate spent time reviewing our options on the type of furnace and thermostat we might want to consider. The meeting was great and the final decision was ours to make. The date for the installation was set.
A reminder from the office was sent to us a day prior to the installation and the day of the installation a notice was sent to inform us who was coming and a time of their ETA. AAthan and Christian were punctual and started with the installation immediately. They took time to explain each phase of the installation and answered any questions we had for them.. They were both professional, respectful, polite and knowledgeable.
We are very happy with our decision to have Distinct Heating & Cooling replace our 30 year old furnace and would highly recommend them.

We received quotes for an AC installation from four companies. Distinct came in high in terms of cost but we gave them our business due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews we've seen.

The staff we dealt with were patient, punctual, and professional in every interaction. The communication from their office was excellent and gave us clear expectations for each step in the process, from the initial installation through to the city inspections.

Their work is tight and tidy. All of the cabling and piping looks terrific. They were in and out exactly when they said they would be and left their workspaces inside and outside very clean.

I cannot overstate how painless and straightforward it has been to deal with Distinct. They have been stone cold professionals from start to finish. They have demonstrated that they are well worth their price.

This is a 1st Class outfit - bar none. I got 5 quotes and this outfit outshone everyone else on every level.

Nate heads up the sales and marketing and does a superb job - mainly because he knows exactly what he is talking about - he is a fully qualified technician himself and knows the products inside and out. Most importantly he knows the precise installation requirements for the home. He answers every question thoughtfully and provides a lot of information. You know exactly what you are getting.

Nate's installation team, Jordan and Christian, were very professional and personable. Really solid technicians who know what they are doing. They were highly focused on their work and getting the job done to a very high standard - which they most certainly achieved. Nate has a solid and well-grounded team backing him up.

Also a shout out to Dannii, the office coordinator, who was great in following-up with the promotion rebate and scheduling in the city inspections for electrical and gas, etc. - always cheerful and helpful!

Excellent work overall. Nate was comprehensive in his quote and clearly knows his stuff at an expert level. The crew was fantastic and super easy to work with. They showed up on time every day, completed all the work scoped with no fuss, and - as crazy as this sounds - charged me what was quoted in the first place. Unbelievable.

Totally worthwhile experience and would highly recommend Distinct to anyone interested.
