Repair backed up toilet within one hour of phone call
We are sorry that you feel this way. We have done everything within our power to try to make it right. We offered to come out free-of-charge within 2 hours of you calling us, we offered to re-snake the drain for free, and we refunded the original charge to you. Therefore your complaint about our charges and our unwillingness to return to fix the problem is untrue. Unfortunately, you repeatedly hung up on us and we were therefore unable to remedy the situation. We guarantee satisfaction and we fix it right or it is free. Our offer and refund stood behind this and we 100% stand behind our work! In terms of the complaint about cost: although in the end you did not pay for the service, we always receive approval for the price before starting any work - and this job was no exception. You signed and agreed to the terms and cost of the job before we begun. If there was an issue with the cost, you had the opportunity to reject it at that point. But the price was agreed upon and accepted by both parties in writing and in advance. Therefore it seems unreasonable to complain about a price that was agreed upon beforehand and was refunded in the end. In terms of the drain blockage: when the plumber was out on August 6th 2019 he cleared a blockage and this was documented on the invoice. The plumber demonstrated that the sink was draining. We ran water through the drain for 10 minutes for approval before leaving. The next day, Aug. 7th 2019 was when we received a call that the drain re-clogged (not within a half hour, as you stated). If someone would have called within the half hour that it re-clogged, then the plumber would have returned as soon as possible, no problem. Due to the inability to monitor what is being put down drains, plumbing companies do not warranty drain calls. This is explained in the no-warranty section of the signed agreement. A lot can go down the drain within 24 hours. If inappropriate materials are placed down a drain after we unclog it, the plumbing company is not held responsible. Despite these details, we did offer to snake the drain a second time free-of-charge and we refunded the original charge of work. In return we experienced verbal abuse, swearing, threatening, and this review with details that are false.
