Kitchen Reno Design

Vlad designed and installed our IKEA kitchen. We found him to be a very honest guy, who responds to emails quickly and does a great job. In our old Toronto house (where nothing is a straight line), there were certain challenges and he came up with good, creative solutions. Both Vlad and Tosha know IKEA products SO WELL. It is much better to hire them at a reasonable cost right from the beginning, rather than to try any of this yourself.

We had a wonderful experience working with Vlad. After a lot of research, we knew we wanted Ikea cabinets but had no idea where to begin! We found Vlad through Kijiji and he responded to our email within the hour. By the next week he was doing a home visit and measuring our kitchen. Two days later we had our kitchen plan! We tweaked minor details but in general, the plan was perfect! He had excellent design ideas. He was so familiar with the product and knew every single cabinet option and the dimensions of each. We had a general idea of what we wanted but he took it and made it even better!

He managed demolition and installation of the new cabinets as well as installing of the backsplash (the countertop and electrical work was done by others). He came and worked in a small number of intensive bursts. I think this was the fastest kitchen renovation on record! He was very respectful of our home. He also was very meticulous and paid close attention to detail. It is very easy for Ikea cabinets to look cheap if not done properly but Vlad and his team installed each cabinet with precision. The final result was far better than I could have imagined! I cannot say enough good about him and his team. I highly endorse his services.

We had Vlad and Tosha install our Ikea kitchen. They were very patient and accomodating to our needs and budget. Vlad came up with several great designs for us to choose from. Very kind and honest guys who work hard! We're really happy with the improvement they have made to our home.

Vlad is a skilled tradesman who planned & installed our kitchen cabinets in a 1890s Cabbagetown Victorian. His work was top notch and a great value (about $1100 for Vlad's design and install service, plus $1700 for the cabinets). He was professional, clean, and the finish product is installed properly. He fit the cabinets to our uneven 120-year-old walls perfectly. Our design was quite elaborate, with a marble topped island that included a sink and panel-hidden dishwasher. He also had to strengthen the cabinets to take our marble countertops.

Vlad isn't a slick salesman or a fancy designer, but a tradesman who knows IKEA inside and out. He improved on our "napkin" design and went back and forth with us 11 revisions will we were happy. We're picky.

We special ordered door fronts to fit the IKEA cabinets from Semihandmade.com , which took time but was well worth it. Vlad came back to install these too.

No complaints. It isn't worth assembling and installing these cabinets yourself. Vlad's a pro.

We hired this company to install our Ikea kitchen cabinets and Pax wardrobes. Good customer service. Installation went smoothly. They are very experienced with Ikea products and do a great job.
