Quality First Roofing

Michael and his team are professional, honest and great at their job! I first contacted Quality First Roofing when dealing with an emergency roof leak in the Fall of 2019. Of all the contractors I called (on a Friday night, after hours), their intake and response personnel was the most knowledgeable. The price for the emergency work was great and the job was completed next day. We re-hired Quality First Roofing to do a complete roof replacement in the Spring of 2020. Their supply is great, the price was reasonable and the entire roof was replaced in a day. The finished product looks beautiful and well crafted. They observed all safety requirements and left our property cleaner than when they arrived.

Many contractors do "Good Jobs". Many have good ratings. Some have reasonable pricing. Some are not lawyers, giving no-end of exceptions to the price they are quoting. Few have prompt service. Fewer keep you informed and updated. Fewer still combine all these as Michael does. I have spent the time to write this review because I believe Quality First Roofing deserves a call from you.

They provided friendly customer service and addressed any questions or concerns we had thoroughly, and they were quick with response times. The quote given was also at a good rate compared to other companies. He was honest about the type of work required and didn't try to upsell unnecessary services.

Michael was quick to return my call even though it is technically the off-season for roofing jobs. After unusually heavy January rains, we have a small leak in our living room that we suspected was originating from the chimney. Michael came over, inspected the chimney and the roof, identified potential breaches, and sent detailed pictures with explanations via text while he was working. He came down and went over each picture with me explaining the issue in detail and how it could be remedied. We also discussed future plans for our roof, estimated life-span, and things to look out for. While he was doing the repairs he went out of his way to put back a loose shingle or two and re-affix a piece of siding that blew off the house during the storm. His quote was extremely reasonable compared to other roofing companies we have dealt with in the past and the work was professional and well done. He also sent pictures of the finalized repair via text. We are all sealed up and dry inside!

Someone came to inspect the roof and thought the leak was coming from the cracks in the chimney. That did not fix the problem. It was busy during the holiday season and they managed make time. They offered to come by again and asses the situation free of charge. Managed to come to a resolution and will be calling them again the future. Thanks!

I contacted Quality First Roofing for an estimate for a roof replacement for a flat roof at my home. Michael arrived within 24 hours and gave me a very competitive quote. I was anxious to have the job done quickly before the really bad weather set in and Michael was able to complete the job the following week. They removed the old roof down to the base and did an excellent job of installing a brand new roof. I am very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship and the end result. I would not hesitate to recommend Michael and he crew to others.

We had a leaky roof over our main house and shed and were very worried about who we would hire for this job. We put out for three quotes from Homestars and not only was Michael and his team at Quality First Roofing first to respond , their pricing was competitive, the quality of their work exceptional (they even swept up inside our shed!) , I really felt like we were given exceptional treatment. Kinda schmalzy name for a company but they absolutely deliver. Nice that the owner knows his entire crew and they don't take on any extra jobs than they can deliver on.
