Maple Leaf Garage Doors

One of the springs on our wood double garage door broke on a long weekend Friday. We called Steve and even though he was out of town he arranged for his brother Andrew to come over. Andrew replaced both springs quickly and made sure they were the right type and correctly installed so that the heavy door opens smoothly. He then walked me through the opening, closing, laser safety and automatic reverse functions. Superb, fast, and friendly service!

I called Steve of Maple Leaf Garage Doors and stated I needed two garage door opener’s. He gave me a choice of two models, and I selected my choice. He gave me a price, I said ok, and he was at my house 2 hours later. One and a half hours, job was complete, absolutely perfect!

After reviewing a number of different quotes and styles of door, we chose to work with Steve M at Maple Leaf Garage Doors. He answered all of of questions, regarding styles, design, steel vs wood, insulation, window inset style. He had the most competitive price and we valued his knowledge and opinion. He was very helpful and great to work with.
Within a week or so of kicking off the order, our garage door motor fried. I contacted Steve and made arrangements to replace with the new motor just purchased. He was there with Eric (install technician) and replaced within 2 days. The door was delivered in May and installed. The door looks beautiful and we have received multiple compliments form neighbours and friends. Thank you Steve and Eric for a great door and fantastic service. Sorry for the delay in posting feedback, as I wanted to paint the garage door frame before taking a picture.

Steve was outstanding to work with. He replaced our old door with a new flush insulated door. Complicated install, with very tight ceiling space due to heating ducts. He was very knowledgeable, patient, friendly, on-time, clean job site, finished on time, cost as quoted.
He kept us informed of our delivery status which was delayed due to Covid. I wished all trades people were as professional as Steve and highly recommend him for any garage door repair and or installation.

I contacted Maple Leaf Garage Doors to replace my springs/cables/rollers setup (over 10 years old). Steve was very easy to deal with - he was clear in his quote for my requested services and warranty for each of the components, and did not try to up-sell me on non-essential things.

Steve & team showed up on time for our scheduled service, and the whole process took less than 90 minutes. He also took the time to review what work was done, and maintenance I need to do going forward.

Huge thanks. Steve and team were super friendly, patient and very knowledgable. I got a few quotes for a high lift conversion back in April and despite Maple Leaf not being the cheapest quote, I got a good vibe from Steve and decided to proceed with his service. My hunch paid off, from the beginning the communication was prompt and easy going. The install went smoothly, on time and as promised -- overall I had a great experience. The team also returned 3 weeks later to take the time to adjust my door and ensure everything was working perfectly. Highly recommended.

First off, apologies to Steve for not writing up this review last year (Aug. 2020) when the work was completed. Steve from Maple Leaf Garage doors was great to work and provided a reasonable quote. Given that the work was scheduled for a particular date and time, he cordially informed us that the door style that was originally picked was out of stock at the time and would need to be ordered (with the order/turnaround time taking a week+ to arrive). He proceed to offer a more higher spec'ed and nicer door as the alternative. The work/installation did not take all that long and was done well. His contracted capper, David, was quite good at it and did a very nice job also. Thank you Steve, helper, and David for all the hard work. :o)

I contacted Maple Leaf Garage Doors based on the excellent reviews and I was not disappointed. My experience with Steve and his crew was that they provided the utmost in professionalism from their quoting and invoicing records to their installation. I required a quick turn around for 3 quality doors with minor measurement modifications. While other companies advised me they needed 8 weeks, Steve sourced high quality available doors and arranged for minor measurement modifications at the door manufacturer to fit my old garage, then installed within 2 weeks. They also fixed some door framing errors made by my framing contractor for a small additional fee. On installation day Steve and his crew were very friendly and delivered a high quality installation. The job site was left very clean on completion that day. I will definitely choose this company in future for garage doors on any other properties.

The new doors and capping look great and the job was well done. Steve and the crew were friendly / well informed and left no mess behind. I would definitely recommend then to anyone looking for new doors.
