The guys did an amazing job, exceeded our expectations.
The project started a bit late but with all the rain we had it was expected. Jim did a great job designing our deck and Scott and Ryan couldn't have been better. They were polite and answered all our questions. We are by no means experts but clearly the Deck Guys are.
Thanks again guys and we would definitely have you back to do our fence next year.
I would highly recommend using the Deck Guys if you have any Deck or Fence needs.

Brought in The Deck Guys to remove my existing rotting deck and build a large new one. They arrived on schedule and I can emphatically say they did an outstanding job. Scott and his crew exceeded my expectations and we are extremely pleased with the outcome. They also did a great job cleaning up the worksite once they finished. I would definitely hire these folks again. Watching them construct the deck, it was clearly evident they built a quality product that will last for years.

Sadly, sometimes you get what you pay for. We chose The Deck Guys simply because they provided the cheapest quote. The crew was weeks late starting, after we paid a hefty deposit, and then they put up a slapdash deck. There's poor drainage on the steps. Rough corners, etc. Jim has not responded about serious, yet easy to remedy, deficiencies. It's a real shame they run the business like this as it's not that hard to make customers like us happy. I wish we had hired someone else. Lesson learned.

Jim and his team was excellent at helping to design and build our fence and deck. Even tho our fence did not start on schedule the quality was surely worth the wait. I would highly recommend The Deck Guys.

The deck guys built an amazing deck for us. The guys were polite and professionals. The team's attention to details in their work was beyond our expectations. I am very pleased with the new deck. Thank you guys for your hard work!

We wanted a low level wood deck installed in the adjacent to the concrete slab around our pool to provide a place to move our seating to and allow more room for the kids to run around the outside of the pool unobstructed by lounge chairs.
The Deck Guys were quite responsive and met with me to go over the details of what I wanted. Even though it was a relatively small job, it was good to have the interest.
The Deck Guys recommended the materials for the build and finish, which in the end we are quite happy with.
We were clear on schedule and that they would fit the work in around another job they had in the area. The work was completed within the time lines agreed to even with a few rain delays.
We can recommend them for further work and would use them again.

I put a deposit for our front deck back in May and was told that they would start end of July early Aug. When I called to get a status and an estimated start time my calls went unreturned. When I finally got a hold of Jim he said they would start w/o Aug 10th. They were a no show on the first day and it was sunny so rain wasn't an issue and I didn't get an explanation (this happened more then once). After reading some of the reviews below I thought we were getting ripped off and got extremely anxious as they had 60% of our payment at that point. I told Jim that if they didn't show up that week I wanted our money back. They then showed up and dug up the front to put in the posts and then didn't show up for another 2 weeks!! My calls were not returned as promised and no explanation was offered. What was suppose to be a 4 day job took 5 weeks and I wasn't able to access my front door for over a week and it wasn't finished until early September. The deck is gorgeous and we love it, but I wouldn't recommend these guys solely on the basis of poor customer service and the horrible lack of communication they have with their clients.

I would NOT recommend the Deck Guys. They took my deposit and never showed up. My phone calls went unanswered and my letter I sent them was returned "moved return to sender". I am a disabled senior and a widow so I guess I was easy pickings. Shame on them.

I gave them a deposit back in May, and they said they would start the first week of July. Every time I called, there was another excuse of why they could not start, the weather, I'm on vacation, ect.

Finally they said they would start on Aug 5 and they never showed. I have called, email sent text messages and no reply. I have tried all three phones they have listed leaving messages with all and no reply.

At the end of the day, I have no deck, the summer is over, and they are not returning my deposit. I am going to have to take further action.

This has been a really bad experience. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!
