S. O. S. responded to our inquiry right away. They provided the most competitive quote (no gimmicks) and were able to set up an appointment within 2 days of the call. Sherwin came on time and was very good about explaining exactly what he was going to do (he even invited me up on the roof to see) and why. He offered an additional service to protect our house from future damage but was not pushy at all - simply gave us the choice to add it on. When it came time to remove the door he was prompt and efficient. He also patched a part of our roof at no extra charge.

I hope I never have to call Sherwin again but if we do have some unwanted guests I know that he is the guy to deal with it.

I've recently been noticing mice droppings around certain areas of the house. I have also been hearing certain scratches and movements coming from the ceiling/walls on random occasions. SOS came to my house and applied a treatment in a bunch of different places. They came back a few weeks later and did a follow up. Although the noises seemed to have stopped and the droppings decreased dramatically, im still glad they came again. They refilled the areas and there has been no evidence of mice since. I was hearing noises from my attic for 1 week and didn't  know what it was. Then I reaerached online and came to the conclusion  that i might  have wildlife  in my attic. When he got there the same evening he set one-way  door traps for the Raccoon  and adviced me to to roof prevention to inhibit any further wildlife  problems in the future. He told me to think about it and let him know  when he comes to.l pick up the Raccoon. 2 days later he came to to check  the trap I told him that i would like  to get the roof  proofing  ans prevention. A Groundhog had dug under the back of our house so I called a company I had previously used for raccoons. They said they don't do Groundhogs as their tunneling system is too complex and they can't guarantee they will catch it.
SOS said it was no problem. They came and put the trap over the hole, but we weren't positive it was even under the house at that time. The trap wasn't very secure using bits and pieces of scrap wood around it that I happened to have.
I saw the Groundhog every day so it was obviously going in/out somewhere else. Sherwin decided to move the trap to the bushes at the back, which doesn't make sense since they only go in/out through their tunnels.
The next morning there was a raccoon in the trap. Not a surprise since there are tons of them in our backyard every night. I wanted him to release the raccoon and leave the trap for the Groundhog, but he said they caught an animal and therefore they were done and he left.
I was extremely disappointed. I paid $340 to rent a trap with no solving of the problem.
The Groundhog is still under my house and I am $340 in the hole (pardon the pun).
I should have listened to the original experts who told me upfront they don't do Groundhogs for this reason.

Woodpeckers had made a nest in my stucco by the roof line of my Toronto house. Sherwin was very responsive, kind, environmental and ethical when he dealt with patching up the hole. Sherwin came to help us with some birds that had entered our eaves, causing a mess. He was friendly, on-time, efficient and fully explained the work has was doing. He suggested monitoring and explained the issues. I would recommend him.
