Five Star Moulding Company

We had Five Star come in and do our molding a few weeks ago. Anton came out to do the quote, and the price was almost half of the other quote we received. Anton was on site within 2 weeks of the quote and did a fantastic job. The angles and finishing are perfect, and we cannot find any issues with the work at all. Anton was professional and very caring about my house. He set up cloths all over the work space to protect the floors, and even vacuumed and washed the floors if they stepped off. I didn't have to do much clean up after the work was complete. We originally didn't want to do two rooms in our house, but now that we see what Anton has done to the rest of the house, we are working to get Anton back. The nice thing is, Anton is willing to come back, set up, and do two more small rooms for me.

My wife had to talk me into getting crown originally. I will admit, she was right and it looks amazing. I think a lot of that has to do with the job Five Star Crown did. On time and on budget.

Anton was recommended to me by a co-worker. All I can say is Anton is a Master of angles. He took time to make every angle perfect. Left all work in a paintable condition. I was there one night and he even vacuumed up his mess. I am currently doing major renovations, he is the only contractor so far cleaning up after his work. Prices are also fantastic.

I did not know Anton previously but called him based on these posted reviews. As it turns out, it was the right thing to do as he exceeded my expectations. His workmanship was impeccable, and the finished product spectacular and all at a reasonable price ! You can trust him to do the job right. I highly recommend Five Star Moulding !

Anton was the most professional and passionate about his work out of the 3 quotes that I've met up with for doing crown moulding throughout the house. Anton was very informative, explained everything in detail and answered all questions, and stressed that his work is very fine and he treats his work as work of art. He also stressed that he performs the work himself as the owner so he also ensures the best.

I could not be happier with the results. The work was absolutely spectacular and every one who has seen the moulding could not stop saying nice things about it. My professional painter even made this comment : "This is one of the best crown work I've ever seen. The finishing is nearly perfect." This is basically unheard of because painters sees all flaws in walls, ceilings, etc and they have to patch up any flaws while painting. So for a painter to say that the crown work is nearly perfect says a lot about the work.

Anton quoted us on the installation of Crown Moulding in our Entrance Hall, Den,Upstairs Landing and 3 Bedrooms work was done very professionally, Anton and his crew are very courteous, and attentive to details. Work was completed on time and as per quoted amount. Anton and his crew cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased with the finished product and will definitely be using 5 Star Moulding again.

My wife and I called Five Star to help us during our home renovation project; we had recently purchased a home in the York Mills/Don Mills area that was in great shape, but needed an extra touch of class and some general updating. For the purpose of this review, we were specifically looking for crown mouldings to be done throughout the home, plus wainscoting in the main halls, and living/dining rooms. We were also in a time crunch to get work done, as we have dependents that can't live in a home while it's being renovated.

Five Star gave us the quote and timeframe (start date + completion time) that we were looking for, and showed up as promised... and did all of the work - completed ahead of time. As some of the folks here on homestars probably know from experience, one of the most exhausting parts of a project is having to babysit contractors in your house and/or fight with them over mistakes or incomplete work - thankfully Five Star Crown Moulding delivered exactly what we asked for, and did an absolutely beautiful job .

We also want to give them additional praise for taking on additional work and seeing it to completion along the original timeline. We had issues with our GC who demolished our baseboards/door jambs throughout the house. As we saw Five Star work, we also asked them to install new door jambs, baseboards, and shoe-in throughout the house. They did so - meticulously.

If you want a company that you can trust to get the job done, on time, and most importantly with top-notch quality - hire these guys! They take the time to make sure that you get what you want, and will make your house look great! I called on a Monday. Anton came to quote that same day. Work was completed the next Monday, as promised.. All filled and primed, ready to paint. Job site left very clean. The trim looks great. Would highly recommend.

After a flood that needed some hard to find trim replaced I called and was given an estimate. The work was done on time and was wonderful. Paint ready and beautiful Highly recommend them. Also cleaned up after theselves.
