We met Dylan and his team at the Calgary Home show where we discussed an issue that we were having with our garage. A large crack had developed in the foundation which was causing shifting that was so extreme the door and frame had actually been damaged. We had several companies come in to give us advice as well as two independent engineers and the company that originally built the garage 7 years earlier. Short of re-doing the entire foundation at a cost of over 10k, no-one could offer us a solution or even explain why this had happened.

Dylan and his team came in and took this on without hesitation. For an extremely reasonable cost they came in, analysed and repaired what no-one else seemed to be able to figure out. They were on-time, on-budget, professional, and even offered information on how we could do some finishing that would help prevent the chance of the problem ever re-occurring.

As we are in the process of planning our next home, we know that we will definitely use this company again and we highly recommend them. Our garage looks awesome!

We recently used Freehold to provide the concrete pad for our new garage installation. Dylan was quick to return our calls and emails and provided a comprehensive, fairly priced quote once he had all the information he needed. Even more importantly to me, he did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it and the service he provided was of excellent quality (unfortunately, I have found this to not always be the case with a lot of companies). I would have no hesitation in using Freehold in the future should the need arise, nor recommending him to anyone looking for an honest, reliable concrete company.

Freehold was recommended to us by our neighbour. I emailed Dylan, received an immediate response and was at my house later that week for a free estimate. I was very impressed with Dylan's knowledge, enthusiasm and "real" approach vs. trying to sell me something I didn't need. He made a couple of fantastic suggestions (i.e. walnut colour). The job was done at a very reasonable cost with the highest of quality. I really can't recommend this company enough. Helps restore faith in an industry that is too often plagued by posers!

I have used Freehold on various stages of my new home build. Customer service has been excellent! Dylan is always accommodating. Work has always been done in an efficient and timely manner. Before finding Freehold I shopped around but now they are my go to concrete work company.

We contacted Dylan from Freehold about ripping out our garage floor slab and re pouring it properly. Besides the numerous cracks, the slope is horrendous - with melted snow water reaching to the back, sides and corners of the garage. A few large pools of water as well. This is a new house and we are currently embroiled in legal matters with our builder and we wanted an expert opinion. We got one. Dylan is a professional in the truest sense of the word. We haven't been able to go forward with this project as of yet due to the aforementioned legal proceedings, but most likely will in short time. In any event, I cannot overstate how pleasant and reassuring it has been to work with a consummate professional. A non-rushed visit to the house, quick responses to inquiries, guaranteed estimate. At this stage I cannot comment on anything besides this preliminary interaction, but I could not have more confidence in Freehold's ability to get this job done the right way. After the horrible experiences with our builder, Freehold showed us the other side of the coin.
UPDATE May 2014: Freehold came back in early spring, ripped out the slab, prepped and poured a new one in a matter of days. Jordan also did some window trim, baseboard and painting to make our sad and "old" 2012 completed garage the new look it should have had when we moved in. Water doesn't pool and slopes right to the doors.

I found Freehold on homestars and sent them an email I got a response back quite quickly by phone, the interesting thing was my wife was trying to get hold of them on a friends recommendation but was not having as much luck so I was a little weary.

After talking to Dylan and having him come out for a quote I was no longer weary, he was very professional and knowledgeable.

I needed work done to my house to allow me to have wheelchair access and with my procrastination I was pushing it.

Dylan was able to give me a good quote and timeline to get the work done.

- Dylan kept in contact with me while the work was being done by his great team
- showed up and had the work done when he said it would be done
- final product looks great I cant wait until next year to get some more work done by him, even my wife is super impressed(that alone is amazing)

Con's
-My dog walked on the freshly poured pad in the back so its not as awesome looking as the side walk in the front now, but that has nothing to do with Dylan's team it my fault but the only con I can think of.

If you can get Dylan's team out to do your work for you, you will not be disappointed.

I met Dylan in May of 2013 to look at creating a sidewalk and stamped patio. Immediately I was impressed by his vision and previous work. Due to weather related delays (concrete does not like rain) I finally have a great outdoor space that was created by artisans. The colors are deep and vivid and the comments I have received been "wow", "amazing", and "awesome". Dylan and his crew stamped a beautiful compass rose and expertly applied custom stain to enhance the natural pigments of the concrete It will be the centerpiece of my yard for years to come!!
