I've been using Hi-Tec Drain(Alex) for 2 years now.Professional, affordable and friendly service. Once I call him he tries to be here within a few hours. I wouldn't call anybody else.

Our main drain was backed up, and we called hi-tec drain to come and help us out with the problem. Alex from hi tec drain came and inspected the area, after that he took out a camera and did a camera inspection. Ones he found the problem he cleared the drain and double checked with camera again, it was gone this time. I appreciated the fact that Alex explained everything he was doing and what was going on, he is a professional plumber who knows his trade. Definitely going to recommend hi tec to family and friends.

I called in about a backend up drain in the basement which had a big brownish puddle around it and a bad sewer like odor. The dispatcher at Hi-Tec Drain assured me that he can get a plumber to my house in an hour window, but the plumber actually came 20 minutes earlier which was a relief as by then the puddle grew in size. Alex from Hi-Tec Drain took a look at what’s going on with a colored camera and showed me the cause of the problem which was paper build up, but not the regular toilet paper. It seems someone flushed baby wipes and some paper towel down which led to this clog. After Alex took the camera out and went to his car, he got back with a snaking machine and used a cutter head on the machine as he explained. And in no time the machine cleared the clog. I was very happy that the problem was now gone, I’m very happy that Hi-Tec plumbers came to fix my problem even so it was very late in the day almost near midnight, but they still send a plumber to my house to get the problem fixed. I definitely recommend Hi-Tec Drain, and if you get a chance ask for Alex. He is very knowledgeable plumber and is very friendly as well as professional. Thank you Hi-Tec Drain and Alex.

For a long time we had a problem with leaking tub taps and aging pipes and toilets. Alex was punctual and professional and helped to explain the process and the costs involved in all the repairs. He completed work that another company said would require tearing down a bathroom wall with minimal damage and in a tight space at a fraction of the cost. All of the other repairs were also done quickly and cleanly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who requires plumbing repairs.

This was a very complicated job as it was a confined space and the replacement parts included new parts to bring up to code.
It took almost 9 hours. But was a flat rate and this saved big $$'s.

We didn’t have to worry about finding the right size replacement because Alex did that for us, and he even worked extra time fixing an unpredictable problem without charging overtime. I had trouble installing copper line to my fridge ice maker in my condo. Alex from Hi-Tec Drain came to help me, and managed to install it, nice and properly. I found hi tec on Kijiji and liked there ad, somehow it stood out from the rest and that was enough for me to give them a call. The next day alex a plumber from hi tec came to my house and went ahead with doing diagnostics to figure out what was wrong with multiple issues I had. I had issues with kitchen sink leaking and the downstairs toilet not properly flushing. I also would get very bad sewer like stench after the washing machine finished it cycle. After Alex did the diagnostics and found the problem he explained them to be and showed them to me, he then explained the price to me. The price was reasonable $1100 for everything. He told me the toilet issue was caused by a mechanical issue with the flushing mechanism and that it can be easily fixed by replacing the faulty part. The laundry stench from washing machine was caused by a broken drain pipe which he fixed, he also fixed some other minor issues with my laundry faucet at no extra charge which I appreciated. For my kitchen he replaced the two basket strainers. He then also fixed my lavatory faucet which was loose a bit at no charge again. And recommended that I get a vent under sink where my drain was not properly fixed, but I did not have the money for the vent so I opted to get it done some other time, when I get the money. Overall very reasonable price for all the work + at no charge fix ups, I was impressed by the plumbers knowledge and the fact he was explaining and showing things which I found neat and interesting to know.
