45 foot Blue Spruce on a tricky slope tight against a fence with the neighbour looking on from his garden. The crew was on time, pleasant, careful, safe, worked well and spoke well with each other. And so very efficient. That tree was gone in two and a half hours! The chipper handled everything they fed it. Limbing and topping were done quickly and carefully. Site and driveway clean-up couldn't be better. The guys only stopped for a breather when I brought out a jug of water. Also pleased with the shaping work done on another big spruce.

Stump removal will be done in the spring. I expect the same quality of work.

Great service all around, from prompt and professional initial quote to the completion of the work. Provided pictures to see what was happening during the job. Cleaned up and stacked the logs too! I'd recommend without hesitation.

We had a very large, multi trunk Manitoba Maple in my yard that needed to come down for various reasons. The trunks were extending over my roof, my garage, my neighbours garage and both the main and feeder power lines making this an awkward job.

The crew from Sullivan did a great job of removing the tree in a relatively short amount of time, especially with a two man crew. They stacked the firewood exactly where I had asked and did a fairly good cleanup considering the amount of debris that comes from cutting wood all day long. Sure some of our garden got flattened, but we were told in advance that this would happen as there are workers, and debris on the ground for hours. In the end the job was done safely, the power lines, fences and patio furniture are all in the same shape as it was before they started and we now have loads more sunshine in our yard.

Kudos to the entire team front end staff as well for their great customer service. The estimate, scheduling and payment were all done via email. It could not have been easier.

I hired Sullivan Tree Service to trim down my overgrown backyard. The crew cut down the tree in no time. Joey trimmed down the fruit tree. They did an excellent job. It was amazing to see them cut down 20-foot Mugo pine in such orderly and methodical way. Afterward, they did a great job in clearing all the cut branches. We had a large spruce tree in our front. These guys were so responsive, came when they said, were fast and tidy. No surprises. They were excellent! Would highly recommend them.

I needed a really tall (close to 40ft) spruce tree shaped and trimmed in my front yard. I contacted the company with the free quote request and soon got their response informing that somebody will stop by within the next 5 business days. Things rolled on much faster and I had a rep come to my home the same evening the the quote next business day. The price was the most reasonable from all 6 similar businesses I have contacted. The work was scheduled in two weeks (for the sake of truth - they offered services next day after I accepted their offer as they had somebody else got rescheduled, but I could not accommodate that time slot). Three guys arrived as scheduled with very decent equipment - their truck could reach far beyond the top of my tree, fast and powerful branch chipper. The work was done well and the guys invited me outside to look how at the tree and promptly trimmed what I asked. All the branches were chipped and taken off site, the place left neat and clean. As they did not have payment by credit card option (I was informed about that beforehand), I paid for the services in cache and had the receipt e-mailed next day.

My cat was at the top of a 60 foot spruce tree for around 24 hours, over night in winter. There was no sign she was coming down and she was meowing in distress. I didn’t want her to have to spend another night in the cold surveying the neighbourhood from the great heights of that spruce. Sullivan was recommended by Arbourculture Canada Training and Education. Everyone who dealt with me on the phone was so helpful and kind. Candace and Kendra were so understanding and made arrangements right away for a team to come. When that wasn’t possible, Joe called and got Brandon, who was actually on his day off, to come and help me. Brandon was excellent, he did his very best. Brandon was in the basket 60 feet in the air, and when my cat, Willa, jumped into her carrier, Brandon gave the thumbs up sign. You can’t imagine how relieved I felt. I was thanking everyone at Sullivan when my little cat came in from her adventures in the spruce and gobbled a plate of food. Thanks again and again.
