Dennis and his crew did a remarkable job, reworking our 30 yr old disastrous East York home extension. He created a solid, waterproof foundation around a pre-existing cold room, under the dining room on top. He really knows what he is doing and actually saved the dining room from collapsing, as raccoons had tunnelled under the old cement pillars that had no foundation below them.

The excellent work has made it attractive and more functional than it ever has been. He created the walk out as well, re-orienting it so that we have more room in our backyard.

He was a pleasure to work with, completely dependable and professional, as was everyone who he brought in to do work on the site. This is a company that goes the extra mile to get everything just right. Also extremely fair in his pricing.

What I loved about Strong Basements was the fact that they arrived to our house very quickly and conducted a very throughout inspection of the issues that we had in the basement. The work process was clean and on the schedule. All foundation underpinning inspections were passed except for the drain inspection. The inspector wanted us to install a backwater valve on the main drain. Denis, the manager at Strong Basements, took care of all the details himself and told us not to worry. He obtained the necessary permit and the backwater valve was installed the next day.
Denis was on site almost every day supervising the crew, keeping us updated, answering our questions and listening to our preferences. The rest of the crew was also amazing and very professional. They had really done a good job with respect to concrete work, waterproofing and drain systems installation in our home. What I wanted was dry basement, what I got was an extra floor to my house that will get a lot of use as well as adding value to the property.
The damp smelly unused basement was transformed into a beautiful bar and lounge area including a wonderful fully working reconstructed open log fire. By careful planning it was also possible to include a utility room and a toilet.
The work was finished within the timescale quoted despite some of the worst weather we have had in years.

I had Strong Basements to waterproof my basement last summer. My damp, cold, wet basement was converted to a completely dry and warm room and their work been done to a high standards.
