From the first phone call Josh and his team have been wonderful to work with. I explained to Josh exactly what I was goal was for my landscaping job and my new back patio. The Zen designers and crew came through with making that a reality. I would highly recommend Zen Construction.

Josh and his crew were professional, reliable and really great to work with. The garden design was worked on through the winter until we were happy with the plan. Although rain delayed the start, Josh kept us informed of the timelines and regularly updated us on progress. We made a few changes along the way as the work unfolded, which Josh took in his stride and was happy to accommodate. The finished product looks fantastic and we have an outdoor space that feels welcoming and provides a respite from our busy lives. Thanks to the team for more than meeting our expectations!

The main structural beam for the second floor deck was failing. I was very concerned about finding a company that would be interested in taking on the job especially given it was not a new deck build. Josh was very quick to reply and provided appropriate recommendations on what needed to be done. The job involved concrete work for a footing, steel fabrication and carpentry--not a typical deck job or simple.

His estimate came within 24 hours, was reasonable and he had a crew onsite in a matter of days.

The crew did a very good job. They were very careful when digging the post footing next to the house footings and kept the entire work area and driveway/sidewalk used for access clean the whole time. The work was done on schedule and the quality was even better than what I expected.

I am always a bit sceptical about online reviews and who the authors may be. However, I would be happy to be a reference for Josh at any time and can verify my review is legit and clearly the rest of the great reviews for Josh and his crew are as well.

I couldn't have asked for a better company to deal with! From the first site visit whe Josh came out to discuss and make some recommendation right up to the time the job ended, Zen have been a phenomenal company to deal with!

Josh drew up a quote on the spot and gave us a comple of different options with respect to stone to use for the job. He, and his office team, were in constant communication with us right up until the job started. The team that came out to perform the job was second to none! The did great work, were very meticulous, answered questions whenever we had them, and asides from the amazing job the did, I would never have known they were here (that's how clean the job site was afterwards).

Zen Construction was a pleasure to deal with from the very beginning. They made the effort to come to our site and worked with us to draw up a plan which would meet our needs. The owner was very easy to work with and provided great suggestions. A quote was provided shortly after the site review.
Construction started on schedule and the crew who was assigned to our job were professional and courteous in all of our dealings. An added benefit was how open the crew was to suggestions and questions as the job progressed and grew slightly in scope.
The job was finished both on time and on budget. The clean up job that the crew provided before leaving was fantastic and allowed for the new patio area to be ready for use right away!

Thanks to Zen Construction for their high quality work. Our house required some up-dated curb appeal. Josh and his team worked with me to choose plants that would enhance the house. The staff were competent and hard working. The results are fabulous!

I hired ZEN Construction to design and install a new interlock walkway to my front porch, construct and install a privacy screen, a new garden and rings around all the trees in my front yard. Josh's designs and colour scheme match perfectly with the house and the surrounding area. His team executed the work as specified, the guys were friendly and extremely professional.

After interviewing several leading companies in the business I decided to accept proposal from Zen Construction Inc. Work included rebuilding of the steps to the main entrance, relaying pavers on the whole driveway and some pavers in the backyard patio. Work was somewhat complicated as it was a corrective work of the work done in 2012 by an unqualified and dishonest contractor who deliver shoddy work and did not honour his warranty commitments. At the start Zen Construction Inc. representative presented a clear proposal at competitive price to which the company adhere without exception. The corrective work was done in two stages and in both instances Zen Construction Inc. crew was at site on time and work efficiently yet with the utmost attention to details. Crew was always courteous and open to our suggestions. At the end of each day they perfectly clean up the site and were careful with adjacent shrubs and flowers. What a difference from the previous contractor! Looks like honest, hard working and caring contractors still exist. I DO RECOMMEND ZEN CONSTRUCTION INC. COMPANY WITHOUT HESITATION.

Zen Construction did an amazing job with our backyard. They did a large interlock patio, steps, a garden, and wooden gate. The work was completed in a reasonable time frame and they worked full days to get it done. The men doing the work were extremely courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. They did a very thorough job and did not cut corners to get the job done faster. The result is a beautiful patio and backyard space that our family can enjoy. Both Josh and the design team were great to work with; they answered all of our many questions and made suggestions to make this the best possible space. We look forward to having Zen Construction come back again next year as we continue with more outdoor improvements. I would highly recommend this company.

The crew were very friendly and polite. The area was left very tidy each time they left. Very helpful when I had questions. The job was completed quickly and to my specifications. I have absolutely no complaints and am extremely happy with the job done by them.
