As a first time buyer, completely new to the process and the city, we wanted to get proper inspection done for the townhouse we were about to buy. I contacted David to inspect our prospective townhouse after reading positive reviews on the Yelp. David was able to schedule the inspection on a short timeline. As a professional engineer myself, I found David to be thorough, professional and friendly. He walked me through the inspection and patiently explained the potential issues. The report produced was fully detailed, complete with photos. He also offered to look at the other unit in the same complex, which I had access to, for comparisons and detailed analysis. I highly recommend David.

David came recommended by a friend. He was great, and we would recommend him ourselves to anyone looking for a home inspector! We were buying a small condo in Vancouver, and he spent several hours with us going through the whole building. He was happy to have us along, and explained everything he saw in great detail. He is very dedicated and knowledgeable. He really loves his job - I have seriously never seen anyone get so excited about joists and wiring! We had David come do a home inspection for us while in the process of purchasing a home. David showed up earlier than us, and to our surprise was already inspecting the roof. David was very professional and receptive to us as we followed him throughout the whole inspection process. He spent the time to explain things to us in detail, whether it was an issue with the home, or a question that we posed. I feel David did a great job with our house inspection. We bought an old timer near Fraser in Vancouver just yesterday, largely based on his assessment of the condition of the house we want to fix up. The house is dated and not well maintained, so we relied heavily on the analysis provided to us by David. He was more than happy to have us follow him around so we could learn more about what will need to be repaired. His report is very detailed along with photo evidence from his tablet camera in a PDF format. We also loved that he was willing to do a second site visit after some rainfall to do a more accurate thermal imaging scan. David always responded to our inquiries by email in a timely manner even after we had paid him which I was impressed by. I really like that he offers a reference list of tradespeople he personally recommends as well. David is very friendly and easy to speak to and has a very professional website. You are dealing with the OWNER so its way better than getting an employee of a company in my opinion. We will definitely be using his services again.

David performed the home inspection on a house we were considering buying. We were extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism, devotion and expertise in David's service. I used David's inspection services and couldn't be happier with the results he provided. I'm quite knowledgeable in home repairs and renovations, but felt that second set of objective eyes to inspect the property was well worth the money. David spent 4 hours going over every aspect of the home and went to great lengths to see what couldn't be seen. He went all through the attic (which was truss construction and not easy to get around!) looking for leaks, as the roof was obviously at the end of its life. He pointed out upscale features of the home that we wouldn't have otherwise noticed. He ran all appliances through a full cycle. And he did an exhaustive check for moisture in every part of the home. The home we bought is not that old, so we weren't expecting major problems, but he did point out things I would have missed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
