Steve immediately responded to my request and was by the next day to scope out the job and provide a quote. After leaving, Steve returned an hour later to show me a new product that would help prevent needles from an overhanging spruce tree. We truly appreciate his focus on providing the best solution possible. Steve's crew were profession and performed quality work, and did a great job cleaning up after. We are very please with the results and strongly recommend Fortress Windows & Doors.

Fortress installed three new steel entry doors, three windows, and replaced a double door with a picture window overlooking our garden (see photo). We are extremely happy with the work they did. Their performance was flawless from first contact to final cleanup. They brought creative thinking during planning and throughout the job. Their team genuinely cared about the quality of the final results. No detail was too small, nothing was overlooked. Richard was our estimator and main point of contact. He is accessible, friendly, exceptionally committed and conscientious. His attention to detail is precise and tireless. He made sure Fortress delivered everything that was promised. Steve and Dave worked for four days on site, with skill, passion and good humor. They consistently demonstrated exemplary craftsmanship. This is a company you can trust.

I changed 3 windows (1 in bathroom and 2 in bedrooms) and a slider door to the deck. The experience and quality of work from the quoting process to the end exceeded all expectations. The sales person and the installer (David) were punctual, professional, and knowledgeable in every aspect of the job. Will call them again and highly recommend their services/products.

After having called several contractors I was lead to Steve from Fortress Windows. Right from the first phone call he was clear, kind, understood what was needed and made an appointment right away. The rest of the job was amazingly supportive compared to other companies that wouldn’t call back or follow up. Steve returned all calls in a timely fashion and clearly let me know every step of the way what was coming next.
We had old steel frame small basement windows and they did a phenomenal job replacing them. It is VERY difficult to find someone who can install an e-gress window, however, Fortress could do it all very professionally! They cut the concrete, dug the well, finished the job to absolute perfection! I highly recommend this company as they are professional, knowledgeable, caring, sincere people, NOT JUST A BUSINESS BUT REAL, HONEST, CARING owners. Steve is coming back to fix our eavestrough and I will not have to worry about anything as I know the job will be well done. They stand by their word! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FORTRESS WINDOWS AND DOORS! The work was exceptional. Steve came out to look at the damage and took time out of his busy schedule to sit and talk with my 83 year old mom for a bit. If it was not for the beautiful new window, I would not have known that someone was there doing any work. Matthew and Stanley installed the window and left everything very clean and tidy. My mom and I are more than pleased. Thank you all for caring.

I was referred to Fortress to help replace a 90+year old side door on our Beaches home which was inward swing to an outward swing to make it easier to move in and out of these houses narrow stairwells-many neighbours have gone this route.I dealt with Richard and owner Steve who came out to look at what needed to be done,showed me options and quoted me-which we accepted. It was a custom size and colour, they ordered door and installed in last 2 weeks. installation was smooth and about 1/2day with great result. Bonus is the decrease in cold air coming in. Great job, thank you Fortress.

Richard responded quickly to our request for an estimate and came up with a very competitive price for the work we needed doing. The windows were delivered quickly and the installation was great. Very pleased. We had all our eavestroughs and windows re-done, and replaced our back sliding door (part of a mini-makeover/upgrade to our older house; also had siding and porch painted by separate company). We are very happy with the end result and quality of products. The reps. from Fortress Windows were very patient (met with us multiple times) while we made our final decisions on what to go with (not easy decisions). Final price was what was quoted (no additional hidden fees). Job was done on time (no extensions needed). We would definitely recommend Fortress Windows.

I couldn't be happier with the work this company did on my home. They replaced most of the windows in my century old home Richard came to give me a quote the same day. The quote was very competitive. He took a lot of time informing me about what to expect from the company. They take pride in the work they do and strive for 100 percent satisfaction from their customers. Richard ended up acting as project manager and ensured that the I was happy with everything. He was always accessible. by phone and even came by to inspect during and after the installation was completed. The installers, Stanley and Matthew did an awesome job and took pride in their work.
