We have worked with Goldwood in our previous home. After moving this fall, we decided to contact Marki again, to get our curved carpeted stairs redone. The company has recently moved to a bigger location, and does all the manufacturing for their projects, so it is nice to feel that we know exactly where they get their material from. They provide premium product and experienced labour. Our job took only 2 days, and once again, we are very satisfied with their workmanship!

It was a pleasure working with Goldwood. I was referred by a family friend that had previously gotten their stairs renovated by them. It was great working with Elena; she responded to our needs very quickly, and was able to provide us with a free email and on-sight estimation. Our all new staircase looks amazing, and we were able to get a custom metal picket design! Loved working with this company, and definitely will hire them in the future.

I just want to thank Goldwood Stairs and Floors for their fast and efficient work done. I had 1700 sq ft of flooring and Stairs installed in less than a week. We ordered a custom staircase and platform to replace our exisiting one with Goldwood Stairs . We wanted to go with a white oak finish in the craftsman style to keep with the age of our home. Getting a quote is a two step process giving us a preliminary quote sheet to work with then sending over a person to take measurements and final quote at time of booking. They were willing to schedule us in earlier to fit in with our renovations schedule. The receptionist Elena was very helpful with the details and making sure that what we wanted is what we got given the people who came to install our stairs could only speak Chinese. She also was very responsive with any email or telephone correspondences and helped us resolve some minor "detail" issues during the install. It took them 2 days to complete and overall the quality of work was good for the price we paid and they proved to be a "custom" shop giving us everything we requested.

With their exceptional ratings we've decided to give them a call... and their pricing for the job was also exceptional in comparison with other companies! The renewal of our staircase from carpet to solid Maple wood was awesome, Goldwood made our experience very convenient! Thank you for your efficiency and effort! I am so happy to have found Goldwood Stairs & Floor Inc. They were fast, friendly and at an excellent rate. We were driving around interviewing different shops for hardwood flooring (we had carpet) when we found this place. And we're happy we did. We have a curved staircase and a bridge. Other contractors we consulted didn't seem confident in their ability to handle these curves but Goldwood specializes in them. The stairs took a day and a half and the whole upper floor took just two days. Their experience really shows in their efficient work and attention to detail.

This company was recommended to us by our contractor. We were capping our carpeted staircase and needed 3 Newell posts for the top and the bottom of the stairs. Unlike other companies I had contacted, this company was able to customize my posts with the details I wanted for a very reasonable price. Their turnaround time was very quick.
