CityBoxes - Rental Moving Boxes

I needed 20 boxes and couple of wardrobe boxes for my move. Andrew provided prompt and reliable service. My supply was dropped off early and picked up on schedule. The price was right too. I will never use cardboard boxes again.

Andrew was ridiculously helpful - I called him in a panic a couple days before the move realizing I didn't have enough boxes. He managed to get me boxes the next day, worked around my schedule and even tweeted about my small business! Seriously this is a way better option than scrounging paper boxes, they are sturdy and safe for delicate items, plus he's a breeze to deal with for pick up and drop off. Nevermind it's cheaper than the other box rental companies, and no pick up drop off fee! Thanks again Andrew, you saved my move!

We are extremely happy with the service Andrew provided. His business model is a win-win; his boxes are THE way to go if you're planing to move. They are spacious, sturdy and stackable, not to mention eco-friendly and "up to 500x reusable", to quote Andrew :)
Other than being very friendly and flexible, Andrew is very professional in every way - someone I feel comfortable letting into my home, even if I'm not there.

If you're planning on moving, and want to make that move run smoother, I'd definitely suggest using CityBoxes. The movers we hired said we saved hundreds of dollars by having everything packed in these boxes as it made transportation a lot easier for them - and it made packing much easier for us. As for the service - absolutely fantastic! Andrew, the owner, both picked up and dropped off the boxes in person. He was very professional, friendly and helpful - and was a pleasure to work with from the inital ordering process to pick-up after our move.

I needed some boxes last minute to move over all my stuff to my new place. Unfortunately all the other companies said it would take a few business days and some were just over pricing, especially for the delivery. Andrew was a very organised and helpful individual, insuring i got my boxes on time, even though i was not home. He did all the heavy lifting and ensured i was satisfied. I was very impressed with his business, the great price and quality of the boxes. I would highly recommend cityboxes.ca over any other box supplier.

I was fortunate enough to run into Andrew a few weeks before our scheduled move. It took me a couple of calls to get a hold of him though. In his defense, would you give up Florida sun to answer a desperate call from the great north (-15c at the time)!?

Everything was a breeze after that. Andrew was very patient, flexible and accommodating as I changed the order multiple times not to mention last minute requests to extend the rental period!
In total we got 10 boxes and a dolly (per his suggestion) for four weeks which worked great for our move. Our movers loved them way more than the clumsy cardboard boxes.
Listen to the master and don't go cheap on the dolly, you will need it!

Two suggestions for Andrew:
1) It would be nice to throw in a couple of pairs of gloves for carrying the boxes as they've got some sharp edges.
2) Is it possible to attach a rope to these dollies? That may make them easier to control & handle, especially when going over the curb or getting in/out of the elevator.

Overall it was a very positive experience and highly recommended for any kind of move.

Fantastic service. Saved us many hours of fiddling around with cardboard. Made our whole move incredibly smooth and easy and easily shaved a couple of hours off the movers' loading and unloading time, saving further $. Will use again and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Our office was relocating from Toronto to Mississauga & we rented the moving bins from City Boxes to move our office files. We received good sized clean bins at a very reasonable rate plus they delivered on time and also offered valuable advice on the usage of the bins which helped to make our transition smooth. We would hire them again if we had another move.

Never again will I waste my money, time and energy trying to obtain suitable containers for moving. I will not ever have to search for, find, beg, and then awkwardly carry cardboard. I will not tape with that "weapon." I will not save newspapers to pack my clean dishes or comparison shop for bubble wrap.

There were a few to choose from when looking for companies like this and Andrew at CityBoxes was the only to offer no delivery charge which was a substantial difference from the competition approx $30-40. Sure I was bargain hunting as I had just purchased a new house but I received much more than I expected.
Andrew is the nicest guy you can meet, very east to talk to and and is very genuine.
He worked around my schedule and when he could make things easier for me it was more than happy. I got my boxes a day early for no extra charge and he was in the area when I called for pick up and they were gone within 2 hours.
All in all better than I expected and I recommend this service from CityBoxes.ca to anyone looking to move with sturdy boxes which are all the same size and most important you dont have to recycle them afterward, they are just taken away.
