My neighbour and I recently engaged Heritage Home Design to replace our front doors. Alex was the consummate sales professional... offering sound advice, responding quickly with a written quote and providing (thank you) the best price. He promptly replied to follow-up questions and paid us a second visit to verify the measurements and settle on our final selection of glass inserts and door colour, etc. The installation crew arrived on schedule and did a phenomenal job... they carefully removed and replaced intricate interior door trim that ties into wainscotting in my entrance hall... looks like it was never touched! Alex showed up at the end of the install to make sure we were happy with the work. Great customer service... we're now thinking of replacing windows and I wouldn't dream of hiring anyone else to do the job

This was a fairly large job in a heritage home (built in 1929). I replaced my exterior doors, both front and back, and all of the windows in my semi-detached home. The owner of Heritage Home Designs is refreshingly professional and the installation team was equally professional. I would definitely recommend them!

Tip: When it comes to selecting a new window style I suggest getting ones with the narrowest possible border. They cost more but in retrospect the narrower profile would have looked better! Otherwise very happy with my new exterior doors, they are a massive upgrade to the look and feel of my home.

Alex was very involved from start to finish and assisted with all the details. His team was considerate and personable. The wall cutting went really smoothly and the door was installed the next day, as planned, with the opening adequatly bloqued as I have small children. I am very grateful for the professionalism of all the team members and very happy with the results. My experience with Heritage Home Design was a very good one and I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Alex was very helpful in choosing the style and size of the double French door in my bedroom. It was a bit tricky due to the dimension of the room and existing furniture. I really appreciated his input. The door was installed expertly and quickly and the work area was cleaned up afterwards. I was having intermittent trouble with a door in my sunroom which was built over two years ago now. The installation team came and fixed it by which took several hours. They were polite and tidy and did no damage to any of the existing interior woodwork. I am very pleased with the results .

Alex and his contractors did an impeccable job for both replacing an old window brick to brick and replacing a broken glass pane of a French door. Brick to brick replacement was often turned down by other companies as it is a custom shape (has arched shaped at the top) and the glass pane replacement was also often turned down due to the fact that it has pencil grill design. Alex was happy to do both jobs and came back with a comprehensive and competitive quote within a day. When the contractors came in for the installation, they were respectful of our space, and completed the job within a couple hours. We are ecstatic with the final results. Heritage home design is highly recommended!

I found Alex, and Heritage Home Design while searching for a contractor to install a new entry door on my home. I had some very specific needs as this was not a typical re&re.
Alex called me back promptly, and frankly, was the only contractor of the recommendations that even bother to reply. He arranged to meet me at my home within the week. He understood exactly what I needed; I required some demolition for the addition of a side light and we discussed the potential problems that could arise with this kind of work.
Long story short, I found the price very reasonable for the work to be done; the installation team was on time and did a bang up job. They were quick, clean, efficient and professional.
