Re; the Furnace and AC installation and removal of the old units.

I just wanted to tell you that Mike and Al are great young men.
They arrived on time, were polite, worked clean and neat and answered any questions I had.
Upon arrival they put down rubber runners in the basement so as to protect the floor. They were hard workers working right through lunch.
When they left everything was spic and span clean. It was a pleasure having them here.

I was concerned about the numerical information required for registering the new units for the company warranties. As soon as I spoke to you by phone you put my mind at rest by telling me you do all that for your customers. Craig I have to tell you. For years I was involved in sales management working for multi billion dollar corporations and I can assure you Craig, you are providing customer service at superior levels. Your communications with with me since our first contact have been stellar. Too bad most businesses just don't get it that you must treat your customers with white gloves if you want to succeed and grow in your business of choice. I would highly recommend Four Season Heating and Cooling to anyone in need of high quality service and installations.

We bought a new house and opted not to purchase the AC from the builder as we would not have any choices and felt we would end up overpaying for a unit that likely would be inadequate, especially over the long run.

Once moved in, we were inundated with flyers and brochures pitching various branded AC systems at a wide range of prices. However we decided to do some research online instead and Four Season Comfort Heating & Cooling kept coming up consistently with praises from many people about Craig's company. I gave Craig a call and immediately felt at ease with him. Since I also wanted to have some gas lines installed for the BBQ, he came to the house to give us an estimate and gave us several choices to consider re the AC along with reasonable explanations and no pressure. After picking a unit that best suited our house along with acceptable efficiency considerations, the technicians that installed our unit were very professional, answered every question and genuinely seemed to care about doing a great job. When a few challenges came up, all discussion was very forthright and everything was done to result in the best possible outcome at a very reasonable price.

After the AC was installed, Craig called to follow up and make sure all was working fine. When I mentioned that I did not believe the AC was cooling as well as possible, Craig immediately sent a technician over and the system was adjusted where it cooled much better.

The following summer, again the AC was not cooling well and Craig responded very quickly after I contacted him. A technician arrived promptly and discovered a slow leak of refrigerant in the outdoor unit that obviously was a small defect from the factory. It was a relatively easy fix and under the circumstances, we were not charged for this.

All in all, this company is very responsive, did a great job in satisfying us and we are very happy with our AC and gas lines. Craig and all of his technicians are the best. We have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone!

Very prompt service, clean, punctual, very professional execution, and very good in communication. Craig laid out all my options (e.i no up-selling), he went above and beyond I initially requested. Having my heat turned off by Enbridge because my mid efficiency furnace was not vented to code left my family in the cold. After getting quotes and opinions on how to remedy my delima I found that putting the money to install a chimney liner was not the best solution; especially with my current furnace being over 10 years old.

I called Craig and he answered all of my questions and responded to my emails as well. Great communication and he puts you at ease and wants to assist you and doesn't force you to get equipment that is not necessarily the best option for you just to increase his profits. He is very competitive in pricing and the customer service is excellent.

With no heat and several days of cold rainy weather in the forecast he was able to squeeze me in his busy schedule. His employees were very professional and courteous and answered all my questions. They showed me the completed job and even cleaned up after themselves. Thumbs up.

Craig followed up with several calls and even offered to come by. Going the extra mile.

The home is warmer with the new high efficiency furnace and I'm getting more hot water and pressure since my rental unit was over 20 years old and was a small unit.

Got a new furnace through Four Season after my existing one died and we had no heat for a couple of days. Craig and team worked quickly and professionally through the service and recommended only what was truly required for my house, rather than any fancy solutions. Great service, great response, great price!

My furnace was in need of replacement because it was not working. I called some companies I found on Homestars and had a few competitive quotes. While Craig didn't offer the cheapest price, he won me over by trying his hardest to provide me with his best price and definitely by his thoughtfulness. Knowing that my case was an emergency, he was able to accommodate me by offering next day installation. He also was constantly in contact with me during and after the installation to make sure everything is going fine.

I found Four Season Comfort on Red Flag Deals forum where many people have praised for his great product/service/price throughout 2014/2015/2016. I contacted Craig at the end of May 2016 for initial consultation.

Initial visit...
Despite it was a busy hot summer, Craig managed to squeeze me in for an appointment. He showed up on time. Unlike some companies who tried to sell me the most expensive package, Craig was very honest and explained all options clearly. A quote was sent within 24 hours after the visit with a full breakdown so I was very clear what was included.

Installation...
Craig understood my situation. I just moved into a new home with no AC.
It will be a hot summer and my baby will be arriving in a month or so.
He was able to squeeze me into his tight schedule.
Installation was 2 weeks after I gave Craig a deposit.
His 2-man crew showed up on time and were very courteous.
My house was freshly renovated with marble and hardwood flooring. His crew laid down floor sheets to protect the flooring.
They cleaned up nicely after the job.

Communication...
Craig was able to answer and address my questions very quickly.
After installation, he called to make sure everything is okay.
There were a few things that were slightly damaged (very minor) during shipment.
Craig ordered the new panel covers and installed them in September.
There was some delay with the energy rebate (not Craig’s fault) but he went beyond his line of duty to ensure I get my $400 rebate.
He also repainted part of my AC frame which might have got scratched during shipment or installation.

Future job...
I will use them again without hesitation and recommend Craig to my friends and family.

Summary:
- Craig is very honest throughout the entire process from the initial visit to the very end
- from dealing/consulting with many (+100) contractors throughout my major renovation, I must say Craig is in the top 3.

I had two quotes for replacing my aging hydronic heating system and hot water tank. I wanted a “normal” heating system, but it seemed like such an onerous thing – getting quotes, researching brands and units – that I procrastinated a bit.

The first company I called sent someone to my home with a brochure in hand, having already chosen a furnace for me. He put together a quote right away. I didn’t really feel like I had enough information.

The second one, Craig Newhouse, came to my home, looked around, and spoke to me before deciding which furnace would suit my home and my needs. He told me why he would choose that system, and gave me lots of information about it.

Both systems were brand name furnaces, but Craig’s quote was more than $1,000 lower than the first guy, and having read so many positive reviews, this was a no-brainer.

They introduced themselves when they arrived, laid out rubber mats to protect my floors, and answered all my questions. They took away all signs of the old system, leaving my home clean and in order. (I didn’t even have to sweep up after them!)

My new furnace and hot water tank are running well, and I’m happy. I wouldn’t think twice before recommending Craig and Four Season Comfort to friends and family.

I am searching for a reliable provider for AC unit. It is my 1st home so I really don't know much about it.
