Tony William Roofing & Exteriors

After the August hail storm, we had many decisions to make including contracting companies which is not fun. We read many reviews on Tony Williams and every one is true. Tony William was prompt, priced fair, excellent work and amazing customer service and continuing follow up. Highly recommend them. We had never hired a contractor before. If you have never done either, these folks will take care of you from the first phone call all the way until the job is done.

Had our roof redone with a rubber type roofing material: Tony Williams were prompt, efficient, kept the work site very clean and cleaned up afterwards very well. They answered all our questions and returned to address a concern ( the installation of the caps wasn't as pretty as we wanted; they returned immediately and corrected it until we were satisfied) They caulked the corners of the evesthroughs when I requested it at no extra charge and Chris English returned to satisfy a concern we had, also getting up on the roof and physically looking at the area in question. Chris is especially knowledgeable and friendly and very helpful and patient with all our concerns. I would recommend this company to anyone with no hesitation.

This company came in as the best value for our money, they were on time, professional and answered any questions we had. The workers were great, cleaned up after and were done on time. Was very happy with this company!

Our 35 year old home which was new to us has been ‘one thing after another’ since we purchased it two years ago. So we unfortunately have had the necessity to contact and deal with several renovation and trades service companies as of late.

For our latest ‘project’ we contacted two roofing companies and two general contractors looking for quotes to install proper attic ventilation and repair a leaking bath exhaust vent. The roofing companies wouldn't even accept a smaller scope repair and the other quote we received from one of the GC’s was verbal and rushed. What a relief it was to have a more positive profession experience with TW General Contracting!!

During the initial quote John of TW was prompt courteous and very informative. The quote itself was hundreds less than the ‘competitors’ quote, and was exact down to the penny upon the jobs completion. They even worked around our little one’s nap time, which seems like a small thing, but only if you haven’t spent the afternoon with a cranky 2 year old!

We recommend Tony Williams General Contracting not only for the job well done, but for THE most pleasant and painless repair experience to date!

For nine months my insurance company disputed that I had any hail damage but Steven Rogers and personnel at Tony Williams Contracting provided me with the support I required that eventually resulted in my roof damage being covered. They were fast, efficient and extremely professional in all my dealings with them from the initial quote to the actual repairs. The roofers were diligent in their workmanship. It is a company I would definitely recommend to others.

Excellent work done by them. Awesome customer service to begin with. They do care about your affordability, quality of work and most importantly short deadline. Very cost effective. I already have recommended them to my friends for their awesome service!

Our roof was damaged during a serious windstorm at the end of November 2011, and due to the wide spread damage in Calgary, we were still waiting for one of our insurance company's approved adjusters to inspect it and provide an estimate for repair when my wife and I happened upon Tony William General Contracting at the Calgary Home and Garden Show February 24, 2012.

While walking down one of the crowded aisles at the show, one of Tony WIlliam's reps asked us how my house was, which prompted me to relate the details of our story, of course, and fortunate indeed that we did so. Within a few short days they were on site to inspect the roof, provide a detailed and accurate report on the damage and firm estimate of repair (Required a complete reroof) to our insurance company, which was immediately accepted. Now, two months after that initial meeting at the Home Show, we have a new 5700 square foot 50 year Malarkey Legacy Asphalt shingle roof in place that we couldn't be happier about.

I should mention at this point that I am a contractor's worst nightmare, a real Felix Unger when it comes to cleanliness and professionalism on the job site, and I suffered no small amount of trepidation prior to the crew actually showing up and getting to work. I'm sure I preliminarily drove Steven and Bridget a little crazy with my demands for onsite behaviour from their crew, but I work from home and it was important to me that we not be subjected to the usual bad behaviour exhibited by many roofing and reno crews, something I have had a great deal of experience with in the past. Good help really is hard to find.

The good news is, though, they have pretty high standards themselves, and needed little prompting from me regarding guiding their crew to provide a seriously professional and courteous atmosphere throughout. With respect to tidiness, garbage was policed daily, and when they finished, other than our beautiful new roof, it was as if they were never here. If my inurance company has any sense, they will continue to use Tony William General Contracting, especially for their other hard to please clients like me.

By the way, it was my wife's idea to attend the home show that day, where most of the good ideas come from in my life, so thanks to her, too. :-)

Ive been working with Steven and Rob for some time now. The experience is always positive, and professional. Tony William General Contracting is always my first stop when developing my budgets. With years in facility management, engineering and property maintenance there is no one like them.
