Left things a bit late, so glad to get a reputable mover for my Toronto-Peterborough relocate. Agusta was on-time, careful, on- budget, pleasant and easy to deal with. His price was slightly lower than the other recommended company I might have chosen. I was impressed how they carefully wrapped my furniture, even the less-than-pristine stuff. Dinko and his guys may be a small operation, but he is doing everything right as far as I could see. A good future, and maybe indeed Toronto's best mover. He will be moving my parents to their new retirement residence in January. Highly recommended.

With all the scary stories out there about sketchy movers, it's nice to know that there are honest, sincere and professional companies out there and one of them is Augusta Movers.

Dinko gave a good impression from the beginning to end. He was prompt in his replies and accurate with his quotes. I asked him how many boxes did he think I would need to pack my house and he was spot on (minus one small box). The invoice was updated and verified each time I made a change so I always knew what I was going to pay in the end.

They arrived on time. Took great care in moving my stuff. Always asking if I wanted certain items wrapped. They were quick and efficient. It was my first time hiring movers and I must say, I would not hesitate to hire Augusta Movers again and would gladly recommend them to others.

We hired Augusta Movers to move us from a downtown Condo on the 14th floor to a house East off Danforth. Mr. Dinko Zhelyazkov, President of Augusta Movers, came out himself to estimate the work, and presented a professional consultation and estimate. We had looked at several other movers, but we felt that Dinko had been the most thorough with his assessment, and reasonably priced, therefore earning him the job.

They made what appeared to be difficult relatively simple and smooth. They delivered all of our boxes & packing supplies weeks before the move, pre-wrapped all the furniture a day prior to the elevator booking, planned well, and made good use of their time and resources. Most of all they were very punctual and careful. When they arrived at the new house extra care and consideration was required due to the very tight spaces in the old Toronto home. The whole team worked diligently together to get the job done, but time did run over what was originally estimated. However, Dinko stuck to his deal and adjusted accordingly to fit our original budget.

In summary, Augusta Movers - Dinko and his team - take pride and care in what they do. They are professional, honest, and competitively priced. I would definitely look to use them again when needed, and be happy to give them my recommendation.

When my son asked me to recommend a mover, I recommended Augusta Movers. Being in the self storage business, I have seen many movers come and go, but one that stands out is Augusta Movers. Naturally, my son was well prepared for the move having everything boxed and labelled where the ultimate destination in the new home will be. This is one of the key paramaters for moving within a budget and Dinko from Augusta Movers set out the reviewed with my son how to move and save money. My son followed Dinko's directions to the T and the move went very smoothly and in less time than budgeted for.

This is the second time I've had the pleasure of moving with Augusta Movers/Dinko, and again, I have had nothing short of a flawless moving experience. There are several reasons I will continue to book Dinko and his guys, and continually recommend them to anyone, including, but not limited to, fast and excellent labor and above and beyond customer service skills. As an example, I had to add a couple of stops more than what we had orignally agreed to, and Dinko was more than accommodating, and would not accept more money!! I can't say enough good things, highly recommend!!

This is my second move with August Movers, and I'd like to thank you once again for a superb job done. My weekend move was easy going and I can't believe it's over. To Dinko and your team, thank you so much for your professionalism. Everything worked out perfectly as planned, much in thanks to your terrific kid-gloves approach. You treated our belongings with respect, that's so much appreciated and you kept to your quote, which was the icing on the cake. Cheers!

I can not say enough good things about Dinko and his crew. We have moved a number of times and have used various moving companies and this has been our best experience by far. The crew was very courteous, efficient and hard working. The day before the move Dinko and one of his crew came to disassemble and wrap all furniture in blankets to help make the move faster on the actual move day. On the moving day they were on time and barely stopped for a break the entire time. After a pretty difficult packing job with lots of stairs and dealing with a small elevator the unpacking went very smoothly. They took great effort making sure everything was put in the correct place and even made sure all furniture was where I wanted it. Not one item was broken or scratched. I would not hesitate to use Dinko again or recommend them to a friend.

Professional, conscientious, reliable and hardworking owner. Excellent experience despite a few small mishaps (a crate fell during move and even though the damage was less than the insurable amount, Augusta still covered the replacement cost). Dinko is an upstanding company owner who shows pride in his work and professionalism. Hardworking man.

The very worst experience EVER with a contractor, mover or worker!! Contact me for photos of the damage caused. Two examples are included herewith. Dinko Z., the owner of Augusta Movers Toronto Inc., blames the customer for his mistakes and unprofessional, destructive handling of private property. Augusta Movers does not have the experience or certification needed to move important belongings. In response to my first review, Dinko fabricated everything about what happened and the entire ordeal. Take your business elsewhere and avoid the hassle of lost time, lost productivity, lost belongings and unethical business practices. This is why so many moving companies have such bad reputations and why so many customers have experienced such bad outcomes. This is why so many customers find themselves in the position of having to file lawsuits. I already did. Notable issues: (1) Original quote was 1/3 the final bill, because of owner’s (Dinko) inability to accurately estimate the length of time it would take - the original, detailed list we provided for the quote never changed, but the owner refused to take responsibility for his mistake. (2) Packing service was subpar - the packers could not understand English and packed small, fragile items with huge pots and pans. These items were broken during transit. ( 3) They ran out of packing materials and suggested we use towels instead for fragile items and rare items! Real packers would never suggest towels! (4) They destroyed many of our belongings including damage to the house; scuffed floors, marked and chipped walls, damaged furniture and broken china. Most of these items cannot be repaired. (5) Refused to take responsibility for damage and accused us of breaking and damaging our own belongings on purpose! (6) Never informed us of proper insurance options to purchase, given how rare and fragile our items are. Such options NOT included anywhere in the "quote". Instead, dropped and banged many items in front of us, and when we asked what had happened, they ignored us and pretended they heard nothing. (7) The movers struggled lifting and carrying furniture and boxes that they packed and wrapped themselves. The owner is patronizing and far too "smooth"; don’t be fooled by his phony eagerness to please and work miracles. He is incredibly irresponsible. If you value your belongings and their safety, avoid these movers! This is a two-bit, unprofessional company that cannot handle anything more than a small move, insignificant move. They only have under 3 years of experience, which says it all. Go with a bigger, reputable company that has real insurance and proper certification with the Canadian Association of Movers (CAM) or the American Moving and Storage Association (AMSA) – Augusta Movers does not have this certification! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!
