Garage Living

Our garage floor was a nightmare. The paint was stripping, there were holes and pits literally everywhere, and we constantly had to sweep dust and sand from the decaying floor. After calling three companies and having them come over and give us estimates, we decided to go with Garage Living. Jonathan, our sales representative, was fantastic! He thoroughly explained the whole process and told us about the features of the coating (waterproof, UV resistant, oil resistant, etc.). The estimate he provided us with was exactly what we paid. As ridiculous as the condition of our floor was, it was completed in one day. The guys who did the job were on time, friendly and courteous, and cleaned up when it was over.

Our garage floor was done three months ago, and it is living up to Garage Living's claims. No cracking and no flaking. Oil leakage can't damage it either. Just wipe it up with a cloth. If the floor is dirty, it can be rinsed with your garden hose. We are absolutely pleased with the work Garage Living did with our garage floor and have already recommended them to friends and neighbours. They truly saved our garage floor.

Our new garage looks great now, before It was a giant mess with old wood (even rotting in some places) and the whole placed smelled awful, really moldy. I used to hold my breath until I got inside my car. The place looks beautiful now with great cupboards and a gorgeous front door. It’s made a huge difference in our home.

From the first time we were introduced to the team at Garage Living we knew it was going to be a positive experience. Everyone was so awesome that I felt like I hardly had to do any work at all. when r kids moved out we had lots of free time. i finally had some extra cash to spend on me for once and i got what i always wanted – a brand new garage. i am a mechanic so thats real important to me. garage living made that happen its a great garage and a great price.

I have lived in my house for eight years and never changed the garage. It was old and falling apart so I finally decided to get it remodeled. A good friend of mine told me about Garage Living and I decided to contact them. A couple of days later, two guys came to my house to modify my garage. They completely redid my floor and installed wall organizers. My garage looks so beautiful and different. I still can’t believe it. I am still so glad I called them.

It was time to overhaul and modernize our three car garage. The cement floor was cracked and the existing racks and cabinets were old and unsightly. After reviewing three companies we decided to use Garage Living. We were impressed by the sales approach and the ability to look, touch and feel the products at their showroom. This company, unlike others, had experience doing thousands of jobs similar to ours. We liked the Rhino flooring and selected high quality metal cabinets. We surrounded the entire garage with the half height hanging boards to match. We were excited about the project and not disappointed. The work crew arrived to grind the floor and repair all of the cracks and cement defects. They were courteous and professional. We were more excited once the Rhino floor was applied .... it looked stunning. The crew did a fabulous job ..on time and they were friendly and informed us upon arrival and departure with a good cleanup routine. Next came the cabinets and walls. The crew consulted us with an option to edge the cabinets more professionally ....which we had not discussed...they worked a little harder and the result was perfect. We are delighted with the finished result. It is actually better than we had thought and the entire experience dealing with Garage Living was fantastic. We are so glad that we selected a comparison of three vendors and even more glad that we selected the right one! Garage Living did an outstanding job taking care of every little detail, they even moved our central vac and changed the pipe to make the appearance more attractive. The work crews were courteous, friendly, efficient and mindful. The sales process was pleasant and informative. We would definitely recommend Garage Living .... We had an exemplary experience and have been more than delighted with the finished result.

I’ll admit that my garage needed to be remodeled for a while. But I kept putting it off for some reason. I probably just thought remodeling the entire garage would be too expensive. I was wrong. After a friend of mine told me about Garage Living, I called them and told them what I needed. When they quoted me a price, I was pleasantly shocked. They price was very reasonable. So I had a couple of their workers come by my house the following week to redo my entire garage. I am very pleased with the results.

I would recommend using them for polyaspartic flooring for the following reasons:

The crew was always on time, regardless of service calls, flooring project or free initial home estimate. The quality of flooring is great and they listen to customer's needs. Despite some problems, they fix them quickly to my satisfaction.

However, I won't recommend using their painting/drywall repair:

For drywall repair and painting, they use subcontractor which are usually punctual as well. In my case, despite the final result is excellent, there were some hiccups and extra days to fix problems which I find are a bit unacceptable, considering the amount of fee they charge. The problem is they didn't perform step 1 (drywall repair) properly and thoroughly and move on to painting (step 2). Later, they go back to step 1 and then step 2. So a 2-day drywall repair+painting job was turned into 4-day project which also interfered with the flooring coating.

Another great experience with Garage Living. We moved from Markham, On to London, On - had Garage Living do the floor and shelving in Markham and couldn't do without it. Great suggestions during the planning stage, fantastic workmanship- highly recommend Garage Living
