Newtech Appliance Repair & Refrigeration

Our freezer was not cold enough and wanted to know if we could fix it or whether we had to get a new fridge. Hassam came out and just pulled the fridge from the wall, put down the temp and told to keep it emptier. That didn't work called another company and they came and made me take everything out of the freezer and diagnosed the problem, I need a new fridge. Calling Newtech was a waste of money.

The food was frozen because I had the temperature up to the highest it could go. The tech did not do any investigating other than pulling out the fridge and telling me to not keep it so full. He never investigated further. The same problem existed and when I called again, I could tell that he wasn't going to diagnose the problem, he said it need a new temperature gauge. I called another company, they made me empty my freezer and they showed me the problem, why didn't your technician do that in the first place.
It just makes me mad your response blaming the customer (me). I called you the first time to give me a diagnosis of the fridge and I didn't get that. It was a waste of time and money. I wouldn't recommend you just from your response.

I received a prompt response to my on line query, on a Sunday no less. E-mail and phone call received that day to set up a time for Monday. I received a follow-up call on Monday with a confirmed time. Amin was the tech and he was on time and very thorough . I had confidence from the start in his skill and the upfront contact and next day follow-up was super impressive.

We called Amin to fix our washer when the timer was not working fully. He recommended that we use the settings that were working rather than fix it because of its age. It is an older Maytag washer but it is a good unit. The cost of repairing it would be too much and replacing it would be our only option. We are going to keep using our old machine because we like it so much and replace only when we have to. I felt Amin gave us honest and fair advice.

We also had our dryer fixed as it was making a lot of noise while working. The rollers had to be lubricated and the vent hose also needed to be replaced. It is much quieter now while being used.

I think Amin's fees are fair as per the going rate for appliance repair. We would call him again if we have any issues with any of our appliances.

My gas oven wasn't heating up. Had a technician came in 3 separate times during a course of 3 weeks, charged me $120 cash up front and still couln't figure out what the issue was. I found Newtech on the internet, really great reviews, gas licensed, gave them a call. Left them a message, got a call back from Amin the owner within 30 seconds and appointment was set the following day at 9am on a Saturday and he mentioned he would fix it personally! He is very professional and polite, he was 30 mins ahead of schedule, called 15 mins before he arrived. He is very knowledgeable, diagnoised the issue within 5 mins, went to his van, got the neMyw parts and fixed it in one visitation! His diagnostic fee is the least expensive compare to what the other companies are charging. His level of professionalism, knowledge, service and 10 years of experience surpass what he charges! Very honest, no hidden cost or fees - he charges what he quotes! Newtech is for sure my Number One guy to call for appliance repair! All of you out there, please do not hesitate to call Newtech for your appliance repair!

Half the buttons on our oven weren't working, so our landlord sent this company out to fix the electronics inside the front panel.

They arrived on nearly exactly on time (about 10 minutes early actually) and fixed the oven within 15 minutes.

My fridge was leaking a small amount of water. Amin showed up at exactly the promised time and determined the water was from a small crack on the water supply hose to the ice maker. the part was ordered and in about an hour on the same day the repair was completed. A secondary problem occurred as a result of the repair and once Amin was notified he was back the next day again at the promised time to take care of it. (No charge)

I called on friday 2pm for a fridge repair estimate and at 4 pm it was fixed. He called back half hour later and asked for the model number of the fridge to get a the right parts ready. Quick diagnose of the problem and fixed it in an hour. I got a quote for the stove element and it as fixed in 45 mins Monday morning.

My Dryer stopped working (again) on Friday night. Saturday morning I started looking for repair companies in my area to call. I found NewTech Appliance LTD on Homestars and saw they were very highly rated (now I know why!) and figured I'd give them a call. I called the office about 8:45 Saturday morning, and was told they could help and that a technician will call me before 11:00 to set up an appointment. 15 minutes later I get a call from the technician Rohit. He said he could be at my house between 10 and 12 that day and he would call when he was close. Wow, same day service? I've never had that before. I received another call from Rohit about 10:30 and he said he would be at my house in 20 minutes. Ok, I'm impressed so far, this is great! Rohit showed up when he said he would, he was professional, polite and friendly. He got to work right away and had a diagnosis in minutes. He explained to me the problem, gave me a total cost to repair and actually had the required part in his car. Holy, this is amazing! I told him to go ahead and a little while later, my dryer was up and running again, Rohit had the invoice prepared, went over it with me, took my payment and he was on his way... and it wasn't even noon yet!! Outstanding! I'm so impressed with NewTech Appliance that they are now my ONLY choice for appliance repair. Do yourself and your appliances a favour and make them your choice too. You too will be as impressed as I am.

Found NewTech on HomeStars - glad we did. Amin promptly returned our call, and Hassam came out for the repair. We had an electrical issue with our 5 yr old KitchenAid dishwasher - and Hassam quickly diagnosed and conducted the repair efficiently and professionally. Will call upon NewTech for any future appliance related issues/repairs.

Amin was prompt and repaired the oven successfully. He is careful, considerate, and dependable. I've requested his services several times for the dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator and have always been well satisfied.
