Alarm

Horrible company. Cancelled the service due to lack of. Sent cancellation letter and then the equipment back. 3 months later they are still billing my account and wont stop. Customer service people are super rude! Only choice is to take them to court for my $92.04

AlarmForce takes the worry away. Since having switched to AlarmForce my worries of anyone breaking into my home/office have disappeared! The live monitoring is especially unique. It was great knowing that there is a live person to speak to when/if something sets off the alarm. Help is only a phone call away. The people are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Alarm system at cottage

We have been with Alarm Force for over 3 years and now the equipment is starting to go and we are experiencing the customer service (or non-service) side. WE waited for over a month for a new piece of equipment only to find out it hadn`t been sent. We asked them again to send it - it didn`t come. We had to ask two more times. After I got the new piece I had to re- set up the system. After the bigger part of two days they finally realized that my key pad wasn`t working. They said they would send out a new one!!. Now almost two weeks later we called to check if it was on the way. NO. Why, because we haven`t sent the last broken piece back and we were told we had thirty days to do that and they never mentioned we had to send it back before we got anymore service. Now we will wait again. I have been without an alarm for over 3 months and am still paying. Would I recommend Alarm Force to anyone else? - only to my worst enemy or the board members of the company.

Service

Horrible customer service. Read your contract closely. We cancelled our Alarm services due to moving. We aren't advised that if we gave 2 months notice that we wouldn't be charged. We later got charged for a month that we didn't even have the alarm in our house. The guy at customer service was rude.

AlarmVoice Services

Good evening all, this is just to clear up some facts that would otherwise go unnoticed until you terminate your contract of 36 months with AlarmForce. All is well and dandy with AlarmForce during your contract term, don't get me wrong, they do their job as promised and you will receive the service advertised as long as you have a good and competent police station to dispatch to in case of a break in, since the response services by the police and their response time, is not guaranteed by AlarmForce, which is completely understandable. In my case, let's just say I never ended up paying for the 2 false alarm charges that my neighbourhood police station charged me, since well... there was never anyone who showed up nor was there any incident form filled out by them. But hey! My beef is not with that issue no no no, what I don't particularly appreciate is the poor customer service provided by this company once you announce you will be cancelling the renewal of your contract. Well here ladies and gentlemen, if you were a loyal customer who makes the payments in time or prepays for the service, you may find that in the end you will lose money! Yes, doesn't everyone just have all this money to throw away! They expect you to return the alarm system components prior to the 15th of the last prepaid month.. oh! and here's the kicker, if you were to continue services with them and relocate to another address, well the a technician would come and reinstall the equipement free of charge, but if you cancel, no more customer service, get your technician training in geer and uninstall that bad boy yourself why you may ask? cause that is what is expected from you. Oh and don't forget to send it by courrier. As for the remainder of your contract term, which as a loyal customer you prepaid that last month, guess what... you will not receive any service from them for the remaining 15 days that you prepaid for. Lovely is it not! I mean, was this information given to me in the contract that I have re-read 5 times, did I miss something or are they taking advantage of us honest hard working people who just like to pay for things without anything in return. Let's end this with: Alarm force "protecting the ones you love" and taking advantage of the ones who pay!

House Alarm

Pretty decent service, am satisfied with the job the alarm and sensors do for my house. I would like if the alarm actually made some noise to warn when a door is being opened since i frequently set the alarm off on myself.

We were broken into twice. . . installed AlarmForce and the live agent scared the kid off on the third attempt. Turns out it was the same kid each time. AlarmForce made the difference so I am a customer for life!

There have been no upgrades offered or updates to any equipment that we have been using for almost 5 years now. There are no perks or rewards for loyal customers and the equipment seems questionable and outdated. There have been hiccups and quirks with the system and periods where the system was unresponsive and didn't seem to register at the major points of entry.

I love having the AlarmForce system in my home. I have two little dogs and have never had a problem with false alarms unlike another system that I used at one time. I also love that you actually have a human speaking to you when you trigger the alarm by mistake. You have got to try it. You will be pleasantly surprised!!

AlarmForce offers a one price monthly fee for all services, equipment, monitoring and service. The name AlarmForce attached to ones house seems to keep most suspects away. If you require service there is just one call and the cost of this service is included in ones monthly fee. If the alarm is triggered a live voice comes on through your box very quickly and police can be called immediately if necessary.
