Replaced hot water tank

I found a leak in our water tank, called, and they were able to come and replace the next day.

I was thrilled that they provide hassle-free hot water tank rental services. I am from Ontario, originally, where it is preferred to rent a tank, versus buy. No charge for installation, free service if it breaks and replacement if need be.

Our installer was terrific. It was a tough job, as we went up in size and he had to do some unanticipated plumbing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Furnace repair

I needed repairs done on my furnace so I randomly chose Canada Furnace and am glad I did. Reception was polite and respectful and was able to book an appointment almost immediately. My technician was named Tony, and was very professional. He diagnosed the problem within 20 minutes and told me a new part was required. After checking on availability and price for the part, I agreed to purchase the part and was told it would be available for installation the following day. Tony returned, installed the part and got the job done. He additionally did some cleaning and replaced my filter as well. Furnace is running great, kids are nice and warm and I am happy to say I am very impressed with Canada Furnace.

Several Jobs

I've had these guys replace a broken gas valve (with quite a few problems), install a gas line for a stove (no issues, did an excellent job), and finally had them attempt to fix my heat pump which they have not successfully resolved and seem to have basically given up trying.

To be fair, they have done a lot for me and tried several different fixes to solve the problem with the heat pump but in the end they basically just gave up and stopped calling me back when they said they would.

At this point my outside sensor doesn't work, and one of the original issues with the heat pump losing connection to the thermostat is still not fixed.

They are not a terrible company, and I believe they mean well, but at the end of the day they seem to have a lot of issues with organization and have been unable to fix what seems to be a relatively simple issue. For these reasons I would not recommend using this company.

Hi Shawn, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. I am so sorry to hear that you have not had a good experience working with us. I just reviewed your customer notes along with speaking to the last tech on site. We are dedicated to customer service and would like to help you resolve this issue, I do see that we came out and replaced the gas valve and completed this repair for you. I then see a thermostat issue that's stopping the switch over from taking place, the issue you are having is complex and looks like the system was not configured to work the way it should be originally, I can see that the last tech on site was Tony and left long and detailed notes and i hugely apologize because those notes were lost in the system due to high demand on the 23rd which is completely our fault. I have called and left a voicemail with you along with e-mailing as i would love to have the owner of the company out to look at the system for you free of charge, please give me a call on 604-460-9969 so that we can get this all resolved and show you how important your business is to us. Kind regards, Ryan, Operations Manager.

New AC installation

CanadaFurnace installed a new 3-tonne AC in our house (no AC before). It was not the simplest installation as there was not much space vertically in our crawl-space/basement. But it was all done in time and very well. They did a follow-up visit to make sure that everything is good (and had to replace a small part/pipe, slowly leaking condensate).
I am very satisfied and would gladly recommend their services!
Btw, their price quote was by FAR the best one out of other five quotes I got from other companies.

$5,000.00

Post-Renovation Furnace and Ducting Installation

When we fully renovated our home 2 years ago, we had the furnace and duct-work completely removed and nothing but electrical in-floor heating installed for heating our home. Unfortunately this resulted in electrical bills much higher than we had anticipated, so we had Canada Furnace do a retrofit install of a new gas furnace and associated duct work to take advantage of the lower heating costs associated with gas heating. They did a superb job. Although our situation was quite unique, the design and layout they created was truly optimal and well thought out. The quality of their work was very good, and the people we dealt with (Robin, Marcus and Ryan) were very knowledgeable and easy-going. They were fast (done in 3 days) and very responsive to all our concerns and requests. These guys are top notch. Quality work at a reasonable price.

We had a new furnace installed last fall in our 30 yr old home, and have been very happy and satisfied so far with the results...they accidently cracked a small mirror reinstalling the glass sliding door in front of the furnace, but were quick to send out their handyman (Bob) with a new glass door replacement. thanks guys
