Wallmark Custom Homes

In the last 25 years, we have built a number of "custom build" homes. We have been fortunate to have dealt with excellent contractors along the way, but, we were most impressed with the staff at Wallmark Homes on our latest project. From the Sales staff, to the representatives at the "show home", to the General Contractor, they took the time to explain every step of the way and were very informative and patient in answering all our questions. During the construction stage, any changes or alterations we asked were met with "can do" attitude. Like any service, we did run into some problems. the quality of a company's service comes through during these times and they impressed us by correcting the situation without skipping a beat. Even the construction site supervisors contacted to inform us when they felt something we had requested did not look right. We, Certainly, would not hesitate to call on Wallmark Homes again.

As a real estate legal professional I have assisted hundreds of clients with their paperwork and budgets, in the process of building custom homes and have heard hundreds of horror stories so I was very cautious when hiring a builder. I could not be more happy with the service and workmanship we received rom Wallmark.They exceeded our expections and delivered a high quality home on time and on budget in the upmost professional manner along every step of the way. Not only is the house extremely well built and beautiful beyong our expections, I was also very impressed with how they handled the legal and financial paperwork side of things as well, I can appreciate how important that also is to the process given what I do for a living, as I see first hand what can go wrong if the legals and financials are mishandled. I would not hesitate to recommend Wallmark to friends, family and clients, as I myself trusted them not only with building our deam home but also with our life savings and I would do it all over again (if I win the lottery)

Wallmark built our home for us in Vancouver and we have been really pleased with their service and overall quality and workmanship. They offered help with no strings attached during the initial stages when we were just learning about the process and not sure who to go to and what steps to take. When we finally chose to go with them as our builder, it really was a relatively stress free process from beginning to end. Complex parts of the build were executed with care and professionalism and what really stood out for me was that the team cared about the house they were building. The attention to details, the diligence and workmanship were very apparent. We've been in our house for over a month now and love being here. We would hands down recommend Wallmark as a quality custom home builder.

Although we did have problems initially, Wallmark has attended to all of them and we have been enjoying out home for a while now.
In the end we are glad we bought the house from them.

We have had an outstanding experience with Wallmark Custom Homes. We came with little prior knowledge and were accompanied step by step through the entire process by helpful staff, from finding the building lot to follow up checks after moving in. It was quite daunting to think we would build a house, having never done so before and having just arrived back in Canada, but we had always dreamed of doing so. We learned so much along the way, beginning with the seminar, and were helped in our many decisions continually by Wallmark experts. Sometimes decisions had to be made quickly and we were not always sure in what sequence. In retrospect, we might have made some decisions differently (such as having zoned heating in a three story house, written record of agreed work with low voltage wiring company). However, we have now been in our home six months and feel extremely lucky. Every time we walk up to the front door, we are proud that this is our home. The finishes are of such high quality, the architectural details inside have been realised perfectly, and the whole house turned out better than we expected. It is a head turner when people walk down our street (thanks to Marque Thompson's design). We have also had good follow up since moving in to deal with the inevitable snags. I would definitely recommend Wallmark based on our positive experience. The key is having an outstanding project manager, like the one we had, as well as highly professional internal and external site managers. All three were fantastic and they ensured all the trades were coordinated, completed their work to the highest standard (as if it was their home being built), and kept things moving along. We would certainly use Wallmark again. We look forward to many years of happiness in our new family home.
