Green Leaf Roofing

I hired Paolo to come and repair my grandfathers roof after it had been repaired poorly by another roofing company. After meeting him we were very happy with his services. He was very professional and made us feel like we were taken care of. I appreciate all that he has done and I would definitely hired him in the future.

I found Greenleaf after deciding to look north of my area in search of good workmanship at a good price. After receiving 8 quotes, Greenleaf was placed in a group of 3 comparables in terms of quality of materials to be used and what I thought would be high quality work. I then selected Greenleaf based on these 2 qualities plus price reasonability - satisfying all 3 requirements. I knew last year that I had to replace my roof this year, and started doing extensive research online ( roofing contractor blogs etc) as well as contacting manufacturers and talking to roofing supply companies. On the 3 occasions I met with Paolo @ Greenleaf prior to signing the contract, I was impressed with his punctuality, extremely good presentations without sales pressure, strong technical knowledge , and his ability to answer any question I threw at him. The materials to be used were of very high quality, meeting the requirements for the Certainteed Integrity Roof System for the 50 year limited lifetime warranty. The job was done 3 days ago, and even looking around on the roof and flashings etc this morning to see if there was anything I could visually detect that I was not pleased with ( I am a fussy guy), I could not find anything wrong. I should add that I was home on Thursday when the re-roofing work was done and did observe that there were no shortcuts. Thank you to Freddy, Jeff and others on the crew for your excellent installation work and clean-up. Two neighbours went along with choosing Greenleaf to re-roof their homes ( we all met with Paolo together ) . They had their roofs completed a few days before mine, and they seem very happy with the job. Paolo mentioned to me that he wants to do the job right so that there would be no need for post-installation fixes. Based on what I have seen so far, he is probably correct. However, in the unlikely event his service his required during the 10 year labour warranty period, and if that service were to be provided at the same very high level I have received to date, then this company will likely be around to provide their services to hopefully many future happy customers. I give you guys a 10+.

My roof was damaged in a storm, and I was very worried. I contacted GREEN LEAF ROOFING and they came right away with prompt and courteous service. The roof was fixed and the job was done right. Professional service, and quality workmanship at a reasonable price makes GREEN LEAF ROOFING my first choice for all of my roofing needs.

My family's initial experience with this company was very positive. They were contracted to repair and re-shingle a cedar roof on a heritage property. It was a tricky job because the house is designated as a protected historical property and the roof has some architectural elements that are unusual.

Although the quality of the work actually completed appears to be quite good, the finishing of many exterior elements was not finished as promised. Rotted wood as not been repaired or covered as promised. Grass on the property was also damaged and not repaired despite assurances that it would be. The repair began in the spring of this year and the company has either ignored our attempts to contact them or failed to show up when promised for the past few months. They are now non-responsive to us.

We were also asked to pay a substantial portion of the invoice for the job to someone who the owner claimed was his mother-in-law rather than directly to the company, which struck us as an unusual and somewhat sketchy practice.

Although we cannot say anything bad about the quality of the work that was done (again, it actually appears to be quite good) the job was not finished as agreed and despite having paid all invoices in full they appear to have disappeared. Regrettably, we would have serious reservations about recommending Green Leaf to anyone else for this reason.

We were in the midst of starting a bathroom renovation when the contractor found that we had water in the walls coming from outside. I called Green Leaf Roofing as I have had a few other people recommend the company to me.

Paolo was very explained the issues in a very level manner and informed me that there may be much more unseen damage once he got going. He was right that we also had floor issues but thankfully the damage ended on the first level rather than continuing to the second.

He gave us a very reasonable quote and also fit us in to his already tight sceduel. He also had to replace siding on the house and rebuild the structure of the garage roof and replace shingles.

All told Paolo was very professional, curteous and honest. I would recommend anyone looking for roof repairs to contact Green Leaf Roofing.

Good, fast service. Cheaper than other compainies have quoted. Job was quoted and completed in 2 days. Fast great service. Roof looks great.

Paolo and Corey worked in a very polite, respectable and efficient manner. Precautions were taken to protect the air conditioner and nearby gardens. All work related materials and debris were cleaned up. I will be contacting them for future work, and recommending them to my friends.
