George was okay in the beginning but became progressively worse throughout our dealings. He was unable to fix the stove at first because he had to order a part from the store. After charging $130 before any work was done ($50 for upcoming labor and $80 for the part), I had to call him to find out about the status of events - 3 weeks after our initial meeting. He said the part came but it was defective so he would have to order another one. I told him that we needed a stove now and since he was not able to get this done we would have to go somewhere else. I told him we wanted our money back and he said he would send us a cheque! Since we gave him cash, I told him that's how we wanted the money back. We made an appointment for him to return our money the next day from 8am -12 noon. He never showed and did not answer any of our calls. He turned his phone off! We have yet to hear from him!!! Sadly. there is only one number to call and it seems to belong to George. He mentioned that he had a boss but no documentation I've seen or found online supports that.
This was a horrible experience and upsetting even more since he decided to keep retired people's money for service that was never performed. Very untrustworthy person/ people in this company folks so beware!!!
If you want to lose your friends and family...then recommend this company to them.
NOTE: After 5 weeks, the issue was resolved by the owner Atiar who very sorry that we had to go through this episode. He called me to fully understand the issue and was appalled by what happened when I explained it to him. Atiar refunded our money via certified cheque and finally made us whole for the cash expense we incurred. My satisfied rating has become a 3 (from 0 in my original review) for this company because of the time and effort that was unnecessarily spent on all of this.
