Thoroughly impressed! I wanted of home inspection that was thorough and insightful and my expectations were surpassed. Don at POMHII did an amazing job inspecting the home I was buying. Don was very methodical, organized and detailed with his inspection. Not only did he find the big and the small things of concern witht eh home, he provide inciteful advise for repairs and changes that would be applicable for preventivie measures and future renos.

Example, in my unfinished basement he show me areas in the frame, heating, electrical and insulation that should be addressed to provide safety as well as savings and efficientcy for heating.

From the expection, Don saved me approxiamtely $1000 of repairs that would have been unexpected without a thorough inspection.

Buying our first income property was made less stressful knowing that an experienced professional was checking the nooks & crannies for us before we signed on the dotted line. Great advice and definitely worth the time & money to make the right decision before waiving conditions.

Purchasing a house, especially a rural one with obvious visible problems to the untrained eye (us!) led us to Don and his expertise for the house inspection. Don was thorough, explained everything as needed, and wasn't afraid to get dirty and check into every potential good and bad component of the house. We needed an inspection for a farm house we purchased in Whitby, and heard good things about Don so we used him. Prompt. thorough and friendly. He was informative with my questions, and knowing I was handy myself, told me how to fix many of the issues we found.
