Five Star Painting Mississauga

Every step of the process was fantastic - from great ideas on how to update our space and detailed estimates to an absolutely perfect paint job. We live in an older home and prep work was key to a great finish - The team took care of every detail and we’re so pleased with the results. Highly recommend Five star Painting!

EDIT 2024 - I noticed the company responded by saying a boom was used. Either they are confused with another home or being dishonest. 100% no boom was used. The side of house was not done.

In Oct 2021, Five Star completed exterior painting on our 3 story semi house. We found them on Homestars and selected them based on reviews, their potential availability, and quote.

Pros:
- free colour consultation - the consultant was professional and really helped us to determine what colour to use. We are happy with the colour
- competitive quote
- professional staff
-were able to fit us in before the cold weather hit
Cons:
- unfortunately, the lack of pre-painting preparation really impacted the final result. The new porch and stairs were not covered and had lots of paint splatter. Porch ceiling not covered, edges had overspray. 2nd and 3rd floor Roof shingles had many paint splotches.
-painter returned to remedy - somewhat satisfactory correction of the porch and porch ceiling.
-we decided to leave the paint marks on the shingles, as we had concerns on how they would be corrected. Would rather just replace the front shingles in <5 years.

Was the house painted? Yes. But we were really surprised that a professional outfit did not put any time into pre-painting prep. Not sure if this is normal for them or due to volume of work that needed to be done before cold weather.

Great job and service. Kept us up to date on all work. Friendly staff that said "hi" every morning and foreman that checked in regularly on how we thought the job was going. We decided on a minor color change early in the paint work and they acted quickly to work with us on it.

If you are looking for a good painting service - there is no need to look any further. Five star painting are well priced, professional, knowledgeable and just plain friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone! Thanks guys are your awesome work at our property - our house literally looks brand new!

Five Star Painting did an outstanding job in refinishing my kitchen island, living room bookcases, and fireplace mantle. They were very dependable, flexible in meeting my schedule, always neat in their work, and guaranteed total satisfaction with the finished product. Their price was fair, and they actually went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. I would unconditionally recommend them!

We have used Five Star Painting for the last 5 years and have been very satisfied with the results. Staff are prompt, reliable, efficient and exceed expectations. We have found their prices to be quite reasonable and the results are long lasting. Their experience is an asset to any home project you may be considering. Very easy to work with and the painters did a great job. They are busy and we had to wait a few months before the job could begin. The good news is that I was kept posted on the date and once they arrived they were dedicated to the job. They are worth the wait.

Not on time. Not on budget. Non responsive. They subcontract the work out and you can t get a response. This has been the worst experience and we have used numerous contractors. Do not hire!!!

We couldn't be happier with Five Star Painting. They were very professional from start to finish and did excellent work! And they were great working with us when we decided later to add a couple of rooms to the original agreement. Thank you. Great job!
