I would never recommend nor use the services of this company ever again. My furniture arrived after being packed, moved and stored by the company scratched, broken and damaged. The movers wrote with permanent marker on my sofa and antique wood furniture. Also when they were moving the furniture into my house they gouged my freshly painted walls. The offer for compensation amounted to less than $200. Buyer beware. They will not treat your belongings with respect. Buy extra insurance if you plan to use this company.

After contacting several companies, we decided on Troy for the price (up to half of other quotes for a move from Ottawa to Vancouver Island) as well as the professionalism and friendliness of Artur in particular. Artur was the one who managed our move from day 1 and was always available to respond patiently to our questions / concerns. The only hesitation that we had in choosing Troy was the necessity to transfer all items twice in route, once in Toronto and again in Vancouver. However, we did not have many fragile items and everything arrived as planned, with only a few scratches and dents. The men who picked up our items and the ones who delivered were all friendly and efficient. We will always be grateful to Artur.

Simple, fast and straightforward service. Having moved 4 times in the past 4 years this has to be my most pleasant experience. I was provided with exact number of men, truck and equipment that I was promised and I was billed accordingly. No hassle, no damage, no surprises. What else could I ask for? I will be using Troy moving in the future.

**AVOID TROY MOVING AND TRANSPORTATION**

Troy Moving caused damages to over 40 percent of our belongings subsequent to providing their chosen "professional" subcontractor for packing services. Move was long distance - Vancouver to Halifax (HRM).

Firstly, the full house pack as requested was not on time, and cited 'vehicle malfunction as the cause. This event lead to the packers having to rush, and complete the job in a sloppy and unprofessional manner. They also damaged an appliance belonging to the property - which they will not compensate or acknowledge. Moving and packing services were poorly provided by ACROSS CANADA MOVING. TROY Storage location is suspect to be damp and (cigarette) smoky. Serious water damage was sustained to our beds, couches and furnishings, several boxes and other articles.

Upon delivery, their tractor/trailer driver was un-courteous enough to drive onto our lawn and footpath without permission, causing landscaping damages. Driver rudely demanded payment before shipment was sloppily unloaded. The movers complained throughout, and went so far as to offer us cut-rate services from their personal services companies.

Personal items and boxes were damaged on arrival. Entire vintage rosewood dining room chair set was broken in transport, and at some point poorly repaired with packing tape and white wood glue. Much more than the 300.00 worth of compensation (as offered from their minimal insurance coverage of .60 per lb). We were mislead by the office staff at TROY that they are courteous and professional movers. Not the case at all, as evident by the photos here;

Several boxes seemed to have been re-packed, water damaged, and their numbering system and the nearly illegible inventory sheet did not correspond to the paperwork given to us subsequent to the initial pack. No contract number was provided on original document as provided to us. Our inventory of damages was also doctored by office staff to reflect a lesser amount.

It is clear in our opinion that we did not receive the 'unpacking and setup services' (as requested) because of the sheer amount of damages sustained to our articles in transit.

We were so mortified by TROY MOVING company we used PODS to ship the remainder of our effects - and at a third of the price, and with zero percent damages.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY! They are by far the worst company I've ever dealt with. Terrible customer service, the movers were rude. They lost a bunch of our stuff, broke our things and made us pay a long carry fee even if it wasn't a long carry. On top of that, they offered to pay us to write them a good review... guess some people fell for their tactic. They are just terrible!

I picked Troy Transportation based on reviews I found on the internet. They were the only cross country movers that seemed to have overall good reviews. They lived up to everything I read. The service was fast and the movers in Hamilton and Edmonton were totally nice people and didn't screw around. I hope I don't have to make another long distance move, but if I do, I would hire Troy again for sure! Thanks to Artur for keeping all communications clear.

I have recently used Troy Transportation to relocate for work from Ottawa, Ontario to Milton, Ontario in the GTA. After quoting many different companies, Troy Transportation had given me the best price and the best customer service, and so the choice was easy for me.
Everything was simple and worked out great! My movers Mark and Sami were extremely nice and helpful. They were on time, polite, very efficient, and very careful with my belongings. They not only provided the basic services expected but also went out of their way to help me. I am extremely pleased with the services I received from Troy Transportation and would recommend them to my friends and family.

I recently moved from Markham to Richmond Hill, and my experience with Troy Transprotation was both very economical and less stressful, much to my surprise. The movers, Mark & Jason, packed my posessions in record time, I think-3 hours, which included unassembling my bed frame, and reassembling it at the new place. Also, Artur (office) was also very helpful in the entire process. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants professional and cost efficient services. Thanks again.

On Apr 19. 2013, I moved from Markham, ON to Richmond Hil, ON. I would like to commend the movers who carried out the move,Mark & Jason, and Artur, who booked the move . I found them to be very efficient and careful with my possessions. They were completed in 3 hours, in which time they dis-assembled my bed frame and assembled it at the other end- something I could not do on my own.

I would definitely recommend this company to any one who needs a moving service.

Trucks were late, movers were rude and not "clean". Damaged floors, railing and front door. Broke pictures and dishes. Price was doubled once items were on the truck and held hostage. If u are moving I would stay as far away from this company as possible.
