I was very happy with this company. I found them to have the BEST PRICE, and was extremely happy with the quality of work and materials used. i was able to call both Reg and Glenn any time to ask questions. I found them both to be knowable about the products being used, and they were fast, and reliable. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great garage! A job well done!!

To whom this my concern. I had Reg and his guys build a garage for me, I was very happy with the whole process.

I had read the reviews on this website and made sure that I check all of there references and they all said nothing but great things. I would really recommend going with Reg, Glenn and there crew. They all were so helpful and I believe that they went the extra mile for me

Although I know that the owner will rebutt what I have to say, I feel that it is important to leave some information about this company, so here goes....
If you build with these guys:
- make sure that everything agreed upon is in writing
- if it is important to you that your siding matches your house, and it is new enough that it is possible, put that in writing
I found the owner so belligerent and rude that I refused to communicate by phone (still have the emails). In the end, deficiencies were looked at, some sort of fixed, and luckily, we were able to fix everything ourselves in the end. FYI, I am the one he says was rude. He will no doubt post a long rant complaining about me, but I assure you I was swearing at the problems and the process, not at him. Also, there were several issues that should never have happened. If we were going to build a run of the mill garage, I suspect we would not have had any problems at all. I hope this is helpful to someone in choosing a company.

My husband and I are very pleased with the entire process from beginning to end. They were quick, efficient and had impeccable customer service. Not one thing to complain about. I would highly recommend Reg and his crew to any consumer! Will definitely use them again in the future.

To whomever gets to read this. I came across The Garage Builders by chance. I was ready to build with one of the competitors. I was ready to add in a gas line and heater to my package when I was given a quote that I felt was overboard. This made me question the whole package. I went on line and found the link for AAHI. I then called the number and spoke to Glen and explained my situation. Right away he confirmed what I felt was over pricing by this other builder.
Shall I say I cancelled with this other builder and Glen came by my house that night to do an estimate. I ended up with not just a garage but one bigger(22 x 22) and with gas line and heater installed for less than the other guys original price of a 20 x 22. I was also told by the other guys that I didn't qualify for the low interest TD Canada Trust financing so they had to put me through a third party financing company at almost double the interest rate. This was also BS as Glen took my application submitted to TD and was approved instantly within seconds. Shall I say I was blown away with the deceit of this other well known and advertised builder. Buyer be ware!!
Glen and his crew were amazing. They started on time and were amazingly fast and professional from beginning to end. Everything went as planned and as I was told it would. My wife and I are extremely pleased with our new garage. Our neighbors were also blown away with the speed and quality of the job done and how smooth all went. While building they managed to get another job for a garage from one of my neighbors as they couldn't believe the excellent work being done on mine.
In closing I highly recommend The Garage Builders. I know there are other reviews out there where people I found are very picky about certain things. Sometimes things don't always go as planned and weather can sometimes slow down a job. In my opinion if you want an extremely well built garage by a professional and reliable company at an affordable and reasonable price then go with AAHI. Not only are they affordable but they are ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!

Reg and his guys put up a double garage for us this last summer. I was very satisfied with the pricing (best I found) and they built what they said they would. Only thing keeping them from the 5 out of 5 stars is the cement finishing . The day they poured (cement) it poured (rain). My guess (and I am not an expert) is that they were rushing to get it under traps and because of that rush the slop of the garage is off. It causes snow melt off our car in the winter to pool on the sides and the rear corners rather than flow out the front of the garage. It just means a bit of effort to squeegee the water out from under the workbenches/shelves during the winter but I wouldn't let that stop me from recommending them. I would use them again.

I have nothing but good things to say about Reg and his workers.

Reg came to my home and was very professional, he explained every possible option and cost for what I wanted built and had it all laid out on paper for me. I made my choices and the garage was started right away. Reg has called me every step of the way to inform me when workers would be at my house and what they would be doing that day, if power or water had to be turned off etc. If I called or emailed with silly questions I had no trouble reaching him at all and he was always polite.

The garage was up so fast and he has done everything he said he would do and it looks great ... now I want him to do my house!

Reg has made this experience smooth. No worries or stress at all. We are very impressed with Reg and his crew, all were polite and tolerant of me poking my nose around while they were working out in the cold. They worked hard and got it done in no time.

Had these guys build a garage for me, it has been the worse experience ever from start to finish. Wont answer the phone calls and when they do they are aggressive and abusive. Identify something you are concerned about will start to yell and make you feel stupid and try and intimidate you, even if you are correct.

NOTE - See AAHB response below, refers to 2 Garage Doors, mine has one and my problems were multiple and is still not complete after two and half months. The main problem is when you ask a question or point out a problem they become abusive. They have so many complaints they can't keep up with which one is which

Had my garage up in no time at all. Great customer service, willing to answer all my questions. Exceptionally clean and very friendly. Have had absolutely no problems since it was built.

Job was very well done and on time. Workmanship was quite good and I am completely satisfied with the work. All items itemised in the quote were supplied as ordered.
