Neil initially came to do a thorough safety check (most of a day) for our four storey heritage home. He was very thorough in testing every electrical socket, outlet, circuit etc in the house. We then discussed the list of things that needed remediation which he had prioritised in terms of safety. His list was excellent.

I brought him back for a total of two more days to fix anything dangerous and to make some general electrical improvements around the house. This included running a particularly difficult four storey network cable run.

Overall, I was extremely impressed by his diligence and work ethic. He was honest about what needed doing, and what could wait.

He is definitely someone who I will have work on my house again in the future.

The breaker coming in to our home had fried including a number of additional breakers in the panel; causing a loss of electricity to our home.

Nu-Phase electric asked me to send pictures of the panel and breakers to be replaced, and showed up the next day before noon.

Neil was patient, explained the problem and quickly solved the problem before other companies were even able to get back to us.

Neil came out to our place twice to put in some additional sockets for the mounting of TVs. The job was fairly complicated given a number of studs and switches but he did a great job, finding some good creative solutions. He also looked into a few issues we had on our electrical panel and gave us some great advice that avoided many unnecessary costs. Great, honest, reliable electrician.

Neil is fantastic. He installed 3 lights in our basement without making any visible holes in the ceiling or walls! Neil has a great attitude and great communication. I trust him with all my electrical work and recommend him highly :)

Neil responded to my contact request through Homestars quickly. We set up a time in the early morning and he arrived exactly on time, which I appreciate very much! Neil was courteous and friendly, taking time to explain the work that was being done and giving me suggestions on how I could safely fix a basic problem myself once I have picked up the required parts from the store. I hired Neil based on reviews here on Homestars and I am very happy I did.

Neil really helped me out when my roofers accidentally caused an electrical short. We only realized the problem in the evening when we needed power upstairs. However, the roofers had already covered everything with plywood, but had not started putting on the shingles yet. Neil was able to come by the next day to look at the problem. Neil provided a quick and affordable solution that he explained to my roofers so that my roofing job would not be delayed and I would not have to deal with major rewiring and wall patching of my upstairs. I will definitely be calling Neil the next time I need electrical work and will recommend to my friends.

Neil is very friendly and professional. I needed some light installation for my new place, but was having a tight schedule. Most people were unwilling to fit my schedule for a small project. However when I contacted Neil, he was really friendly and offered me a schedule that fit both of us. He was knowledgeable, patient and completed the job quickly. I would definitely contact Neil if I need help next time.
