We like to go to the homeshows to find quality contractors with a reasonable price and compare between competitors. We liked what Hometech was offering and they were having a show discount. For $2500 we were going to get new patio doors with lifetime warranty on the product. When we were ready to do the install the price went up. Of we did not get anything in writing for the patio doors but since they had our information we figured they would honor their price but they said we took too long of time. So he said that he would do something for us. The price was discounted but instead of getting the lower quality we went with a higher quality choices and while waiting for the patio doors quote I wanted to know if they did custom insert windows in my front door. He said he would get them to measure it when they came and get back to me. They were so busy that we had to wait until fall (Sept to Oct) to get them installed.They were ready earlier than expected which was nice and even though no dates were set things worked out. When it came for them to come and install the doors we were not ready and they were very good about waiting for us to do some renos before they could come in. They were also very helpful about coming in and giving advice on what they want us to do with the renos so they could do the install with ease. They came out one day just for that reason. We were very happy about everything except for them not letting me know that they could not do the custom window insert as I had to call them and ask them whether they could or could not do the that part of our request. Thanks to you, Dave and your workers, Eugene, for doing a professional job. And thanks to your very special secretary, Bev.

We had the windows ordered to coincide with a major renovation project. We did not have a set date for the install at the time of order and requested that they call us prior to manufacturing so we could ensure we would be ready. We got a call in August saying the windows were done and that we had 2 weeks to install as they would not hold them. We had increase cost to the project to get the walls ready for the windows to accommodate them. On the date of the installation the installer removed 2 windows that were noticeably smaller and belonged to another window in the house that has an A/c unit in it. When we called the company to have them returned we were told that they would not and that for an additional $3,500 they would replace the window. We explained we just did a major renovation and did not have additional funds to do them at this time and we would just like the old ones returned. They said they are not responsible for the taken windows and are refusing to give them back. After submitting this review the company in order to not receive negative feed back told HomeStars that we were not customers. Copies of our invoice was sent in as evidence that we did indeed have this company do the work that we reported about.

Hometech installed our new bay window earlier than the projected time. Their service was superior, including the installers who came to plan the project, and the men who did the installation. The window they recommended exceeds our expectation, providing us with a breeze of air that circulates throughout our house. We are looking forward to getting better insulation in the winter time as well. The window looks great and we are extremely satisfied. Thank you, Hometech.

Sales demo by David, information was good information and comparison was good value. Time line for available product was reasonable, office worked well with me to come to the correct installation date, she said the installer Daryl was an early bird so I was not surprised to see the van pull up 15 minutes before the hour. One small issue was resolved and in our favor, we ended up with more than we expected. Install was low impact to our home and family and pets. Follow up by initial contractor Michael was a comfort. Pleasant and professional men, all.

The salesman was really nice and knowledgeable, he explained us the differences between the types of windows and styles. We went to their showroom to see the amazing selection of doors. The installers showed up on time on the agreed date, which was conveniently scheduled for us. They worked through the rain non stop for 4 days. They used drop sheets all over the house to preserve our brand new oak hardwood. They have cleaned all the garbage and debris in and around the house. We could not be happier with our selection and the final outcome.

WE recently had 12 windows replaced in our house....they were very polite, worked around us, kept the areas there were working in clean. Our windows look awesome. We got everything we were promised.

We had our whole house done by Hometech. They did a wonderful job. The house looks brand new.Installers were very professional. Job took less time then we figured. Cost was reasonable and what we expected. We could have gone with cheap windows however you get what you pay for.The warranty is great. No complaints keep up the good work.

We had 18 new windows and 2 doors with phantom screens installed. It took the installers 3 days in 30 plus celsius weather.
They did a wonderful job from start to finish. David gave us lots of ideas for our doors and windows. We would recommend then to friends and family. Our installers were Darryl and Jay. They worked very hard and were excellent. We live in Whitecourt, AB.
