Derrick and crew were awesome. We ended up getting the garage complete a month ahead of schedule, and were able to customize a few things the other builders wouldn't allow. Our yard was cleaned up (nicer than it was before!) after they were finished, and the construction seems really solid. If we had room for more garages, we'd definitely use Gecko again!

Derrick and his team provided exceptional service from beginning to end! I have dealt with a LOT of contractors over the years, Gecko has set the bar at what a great contractor looks like! Quick, open, honest, & trustful communication all through the project, very professional all the way, garage was built sooner than promised, and just as all their reviews state, when they show up, they only leave once completed. Concreted team came in, 2 days left, following week Derrick and team came in, 2 days later gone, all cleaned up, brick, eves, and garage door guys showed up days later, to which we were well informed of when each would arrive. Extremely happy with our new garage, cannot say enough good about Derrick and team! Excellent job guys ! thx so much, you made this stress free and very easy!

My wife and I had started sourcing builders for a garage earlier this year. Over the course of many weeks, we had assessments completed and were provided quotes from builders that were not within our budget. We managed to get Gecko (Derrick) out for a look at our project and he was able to provided us very competitive numbers for the work. We hired Derrick and his team based on the feedback we got from HomeStars and his professionalism in person. Once the work started on our garage, it was amazing how quickly they put everything together. Derrick is not the usual cut of tradesman we've dealt with before. He was on top of the project start to finish, regularly communicated with us to provide us details of the build, and was very courteous the entire time. Workmanship was amazing. I admitted to Derrick that I was originally planning to build it myself from a garage package. Now that I've seen the work involved, I would not have had the same results. :) Thoroughly happy with the experience and quality of work. Well done, and I'll gladly recommend Gecko again!

I could not be happier with my new garage, Derrick was fantastic to work with from start to finish. Excellent communication and provided updates with permits and documentation. Any small issues where quickly attended to. The garage was completed well ahead of schedule. Derrick crew was on time and professional and paying attention to the details. During the initial assessment Derrick provided building guidance on what would work for my garage. They even built a work bench and step at no extra charge. I would very highly recommend Gecko Projects. An excellent garage builder!!

We can't say enough positive things about our experience working with Derrick. Derrick was in constant communication with us from the very beginning - providing updates along the way regarding permits, start dates and any delays we ran into (weather related, in our case). Derrick and his crew were impressive to watch – when they show up to work, they mean business. The garage was built fast, but was very well constructed, using quality materials. The crew made sure to tidy up and not leave things around where our kids could get at it.

Where to begin! Derrick and his crew were super impressive. I had been researching companies and had a few come and provide quotes, I was really disappointed and didn't have a good feeling about any of them. Then I found Gecko. What a difference. He asked lots questions, and made sure that all my questions were answered and then some. His build package was superior compared to the competition. He sat down and walked us through the whole design. He got in before his estimated build time, and was in and out in 2 days. There was a minor hiccup with the gas line and Derrick just took care of it! It was all so easy and everything he did put us at ease. Thanks for the great garage!

I read other people’s review and decided to use Gecko to build my garage. Derrick responded to my email right away and gave me a rough quote and a lot of great advice. We signed the contract that weekend and the contract start date is Oct 20. Derrick’s crew started the preparation job way before the contract starts and finished it even before the contract start date.
Derrick did fantastic job to keep me updated. He took care of everything for me even some stuff I didn’t mentioned like clean my backyard and newly build garage after they finish everything. The garage is fantastic. If you need a professional builder to build your garage, Gecko is your best choice.
