Marco Plumbing Ltd.

Being new to Durham I didn't know anyone who could refer a Plumbing company that they trusted. I found A Marco on Homestars, read the reviews and took a chance as my basement was quickly collecting water with every toilet flush. Joe arrived during the quoted time and spent time explaining the problem and the solution. He had all the necessary equipment with him and cleared the drain on the spot. The rate was less than I had expected for a "same day" call. It's been 2 weeks and no problems since. Not only would I recommend A Marco to friends, I have already given their card to a coworker to call.

I met with Service Technician Joe and he was very professional. Great guy to talk to as well as very friendly. Gave me straight truthful answers right away on how long it would take and the cost. I thought the job was way more complicated than it really was and Joe really ensured me that it was very easy to fix and can be done quickly. He was right and was completed within an hour. He even installed new flaps in the leaky toilets for us and it wasn't even on his quote. Price was really good too. I must have tried to fix that leaky pipe 4 times myself. Anyone reading this, do yourself a big favor and call the professionals....Call these guys and you will get the job done and done right for a very reasonable price. Thanks again A Marco Plumbing.

Water leak had part of ceiling cave in. 2 other plumbers couldn't find the leak. Marco plumbing did.Their plumber fixed it fast and was thorough and professional and at a very reasonable cost.

So very pleased with with the work that was accomplished today. Should we ever need plumbing repairs again, we would appreciate having Steve take care of it. We thank you for this fine job.

I am a Realtor based out of Courtice . I recently used Marco Plumbing to do a quick inspection of some plumbing issues for my clients. Marco Plumbing was able to get out the next day and were very professional in their inspection. I will use them again and highly recommend their services.

I just bought an older home and realised that the drain had a blockage. I had called another local plumber who made a huge mess and said I had a cracked pipe and the cost could go up to $10k! I called A Marco for a camera to see the crack. But when Gary and Joe got there they looked at the issue and easily saw that it was just blocked. Snake went in and I have been a happy homeowner ever since!! Thank you so much for saving me from a huge mistake. I will know for next time to call you first and recommend you to anyone!!

This review is long overdue, as was finally getting the repair of our kitchen sink drain done. Two weeks before Christmas, we contacted A Marco Plumbing to see if they could do anything with our totally clogged kitchen sink. This sink had been like this for a long time, and despite many measures and methods to fix it, nothing worked. Two days after phoning the company, Steve (I think that was his name) arrived in the morning and after 5+ hours, our sink was working like a charm....and still is 6 mos later. With previous attempts to fix this problem (not by A Marco plumbing) the sink would clog again within several weeks.

What should have been a relatively easy fix, became an incredible challenge for this very knowledgeable (and personable) plumber. We had had the very same problem addressed years ago by another company and it was discovered they had redone the downstairs pipes incorrectly, causing grunge, sediment, sludge, etc., to build up over the years. Steve had to revamp/redo the piping, clean out all the gunk, and then refit the sink piping. To add insult to everything - this pipe-clogging junk stunk!

Unfortunately, I do not remember the cost, but do remember that for all the work, it was very reasonable - and we would have gladly paid double just to have this ongoing problem finally rectified. Definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

Being a single female who owns my home I'm often asked by contractors "does your husband deal with these things?" Or "Do you need to speak with your husband?" I am very skeptical when it comes to calling contractors for fear of being ripped off. When I read the reviews of A Marco Plumbing on this site, I felt a bit more at ease. I sent them an email in inquiry and was called the next day. An appointment was also scheduled for me the following day. When the gentleman came to my house he was more then professional and took time to actually investigate why the issue I was having is occurring. I was satisified with the outcome and would strongly recommend this company to my family or friends.
