FOUNDED IN 1985 BY NICOLA TERSIGNI AND 21-YEAR-OLD SON ANGELO, ALL-PRO Landscaping & Carpentry Ltd. specializes in working with clients to enhance the beauty and functionality of the landscape elements that complement and add to the enjoyment of their homes.
>> As sole owner and operator for the past 37 years, Angelo continues to honour the family values of integrity, diligence and quality that are at the very heart of ALL-PRO Landscaping & Carpentry Ltd.; the company he founded with his father 39 years ago. About 80 to 90 PER CENT of the projects we complete each year originate from:

On average, ALL-PRO Landscaping has the capacity to commit to approximately 20 to 40 CLIENT PROJECTS EACH YEAR (depending on the scope of the projects).

A FEW NOTES ABOUT QUOTATIONS . . .
Angelo personally handles quoting and sales. Hours of work are invested in a typical quotation. Rather than providing homeowners with a bulk dollar amount for the entire project, Angelo goes the extra mile by presenting a detailed, typed "contract specification sheet" that breaks the entire project into individual components that specify the materials/dimensions and pricing per component. The quote also specifies applicable warranty, HST and payment terms. Ultimately, for homeowners who choose to entrust their project to ALL-PRO Landscaping & Carpentry, this quotation document evolves into the signed client contract, usually after a number of refinements to align more closely with the client's aesthetic and budget.
> At times during the season, Angelo may temporarily suspend quoting so that he can focus exclusively on current projects and on quotations already in hand.
In this scenario, our office manager invites homeowners to circle back to us at a later date if they are unable to find another contractor with whom they wish to proceed. She also compiles a waiting list of those homeowners who wish to meet with Angelo when he begins quoting again.

IS ALL-PRO LANDSCAPING A GOOD FIT FOR YOUR PROJECT?
During the peak spring/summer period, we receive approximately 20 to 30 quotation requests PER WEEK, sometimes more.
Many of these we need to decline for a variety of reasons. For example, the project site is outside our core service area, or our schedule is already booked during the homeowners’ desired completion timeframe, or the project is not the kind of work we do.
When non-client homeowners reach out to ALL-PRO Landscaping to request a quotation, we are very grateful. We also respect their time and want to ensure that we are a good fit for their projects. So our office manager will ask a few questions before including their information on Angelo’s quotation request call-back spreadsheet . . .

Q1. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Each year, we must decline many quotation requests from homeowners located outside our service area.
Please refer to the “CORE SERVICE AREA” note, above.

Q2. DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT COMPLETION DEADLINE THAT YOU NEED TO MEET?
Some homeowners are working towards a particular project completion deadline such as the date of a backyard wedding or the arrival of visitors from overseas.
> This is important for us to know up front, because the homeowner's desired time frame may no longer be available on our schedule.

Q3. HOW MANY QUOTATIONS ARE YOU OBTAINING?
Conventional wisdom usually concurs that obtaining two or three quotations is prudent for homeowners who do not yet have an established relationship with a trusted contractor.
We respectfully decline to meet with homeowners who are obtaining more than three quotations.

Q4. WHAT KIND OF WORK WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE DONE?
We focus on "HARDSCAPE" construction projects, such as:
=> patios, walkways, steps, porches, garden walls, retaining walls, driveway borders/driveways constructed with precast concrete products and natural stone products.
=> decks constructed with pressure-treated, cedar and composite decking products.
For hardscape projects, we can also incorporate the following:
=> sod, mulch, triplemix, riverstone, ornamental rockery.
=> synthetic grass (usually Rymar Durablade 95 S-Shaped Synthetic Grass).
=> fence and gate structures, constructed with with cedar, pressure-treated or composite materials, as well as custom-ordered ornamental iron fencing from Medallion Fence.
We do NOT install the following:
=> Asphalt. We refer our clients to two trusted companies.
=> Stamped/patterned concrete.
=> Extensive plantings. While we can certainly do some planting of trees and shrubs as part of our hardscape projects, we refer our clients to trusted horticultural technician-designers for extensive garden design.

Q5. WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF YOUR PROJECT?
The HomeStars company PROFILE format includes a field for “PROJECT MINIMUM”.
> For prospective clients, we have set $5,000 as the minimum.
> For our previous clients, of course we are glad to come back to help with any landscape construction job, no matter how small.
> We appreciate that some homeowners may be unable to gauge whether or not their project would be above the $5,000 minimum threshold. Our office manager might be able to help with this when you describe the kind of work you would like to have done.

MEETING WITH ANGELO . . .
Angelo's QUOTATION REQUEST CALL-BACK LIST is updated by the office manager. On that spreadsheet, each request she enters is tracked by initial date of inquiry.
> CALL-BACK TIMEFRAME: During the construction season, Angelo strives to touch base with homeowners within two weeks of the date of their initial inquiry logged on the Quotation Request List (unless he had already placed a temporary hold on quoting before the inquiry was received).
> MEETING TIMEFRAME: During the construction season, Angelo does his best to integrate quotation meetings into his existing project work schedule. Client work always takes priority for him — something which prospective clients are sure to appreciate. During the offseason from approx. December through March, Angelo does quite a bit of quoting for the upcoming season, weather permitting.

During the peak season, Angelo combines jobsite work with sales, scheduling, purchasing, transportation, HR, client relations and other aspects of the business. He is at the jobsites daily. Multiple projects are usually under way. Clients deal with Angelo directly on anything pertaining to their projects. He manages the project schedule, calculates and places the orders for project materials and determines crew member assignments each day in consultation with his onsite Team leader, Dan. His Class AR driver's licence also enables him to minimize production disruptions by serving as the supply lifeline for the jobsites: delivering materials from manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers (paving stones, flagstone, wall systems, steps, boulders, rockery, gravel, screenings, lumber, fencing, topsoil, triplemix, sod, etc.), transporting equipment and materials between jobsites and ALL-PRO’s staging yard in north Ajax, and hauling project debris to transfer stations, for example. He integrates quotations into this schedule.

I contacted Angelo since my backyard needed some work. The grass needed to be replaced, a couple of beds and a tree removed, and a flower bed with stone sides added.

Previously, Angelo's company had done a nice job for us on an interlocking front walkway.

The backyard landscaping was done well and we were very satisfied with the results.

Backyard Patio, Retaining Wall and Gardens

Angelo and his team undertook a very large project which reshaped 80% of our backyard! He installed a new paver stone patio, new fence posts and panels, framed and filled our gardens and laid new sod. After a slower than expected start due to a very wet April, they worked diligently and consistently to get the project completed as efficiently as possible. His guys were hardworking through hot and humid days and were very pleasant, respectful and dedicated. The patio looks fantastic, the gardens are exactly what we wanted (even though we threw some changes at them partway through), and he worked with our other contractor who was building a roof structure over the patio to make sure everything was well coordinated and completed professionally. The end result is better than we could have imagined and we have been enjoying the new outdoor space immensely. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

Once again ALL-PRO Landscaping completed a project for us with expertise and professionalism. Angelo's quote was exactly what we had anticipated and his timing was perfect for us. Angelo and his team removed six overgrown bushes and levelled and sodded over a large garden in the centre of our yard. They also rerouted an eavestrough downspout and cut and reset some pavers. We are very happy with the results and have no hesitation in recommending ALL-PRO Landscaping. Angelo's communication as always was excellent and it is important to us to deal with a company that carries the proper insurance overage and is a member of Landscape Ontario.

Major repairs to driveway and retaining wall

All Pro was one of three companies we contacted for a quote to repair a retaining wall and re-build our driveway.

Angelo and the team won-out due to their responsiveness to our questions, contract best-practices (resources covered by Workers Comp, phased payment approach), and a fair price.

The final product was great! Their workmanship and professionalism met all our expectations.

We had a concrete pool (16x200). Angelo and his Team worked very professionally and maintained communication at every stage of the project. His company has all the right equipment to get the job done.
The Company provides warranty for all the work ( Including commitment to top up Soil after 1 winter). Angelo knows what he is doing with confidence I can tell you trust him. After Filling the pool, in about 20 days, Soil sank a bit, and Angelo topped up the soil as committed.

Definitely will recommend the service.

In your case, I left a bit of "headroom" in the area pending your decision next spring regarding how you want to finish it. Depending on what you decide, you may need to add topsoil first. We also “enjoyed” some extreme rain storms during your project, creating mud and sinkage, and interrupting the job for a brief period of time. We have had All-Pro do 2 landscaping projects, the first 20 years ago, the second the fall of 2018. If we had a third, we would definitely use All-Pro. We are extremely pleased with the work, and have had neighbors tell us how good it looks. Angelo even came himself to finish one small detail that was put off because of the weather.

After our installation of your interlock paver driveway two decades ago, the pavers were definitely ready for a refresh this year, although still sound. At the same time, we were also happy to extend the esthetic to include your front walkway and entrance for harmonized curb appeal! We held off on the parging component of your project due to the extreme heat this August. Fenced Side patio on Sloped hill for Garden Shed

We were so impressed with All Pro’s work on our retaining walls in the past that they were the only company we approached. Angelo checked with us on what our needs were for this project and like a great project manager he was able to recommend a better and cheaper solution. The team was great and able to assist with my concerns and questions.. We required new fencing on one side of our yard and wanted to put a Garden Shed at the side of our house. The land is quite sloped and required a level pad to be built with fencing all around. the team built a great pad with drainage. Plus a solid new fence. We are ready for our new Shed. And now our wee dog can’t get under the fence. Thanks again Angelo and All Pro

Front yard walkway and garden wall

Our front walkway and garden needed a major update. We did some research some what we wanted and reviewed contractors. All pro landscaping stood out and their customer reviews and photos of completed jobs were impressive.

The team at All pro was great to deal with. They came out to understand the job, provided helpful suggestions and recommendations on what we could do. The quote was competitive and the work they did was outstanding. They came out and started when they said and finished on time.

I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants exterior landscaping and stone work. They do it right and know what they are doing.

Excellant Work Performed

True to their word, they were able to complete our patio in only one week! They used recycled concrete as base and 1 inch layer of natural screening! The men doing the work were so well mannered and cleaned up daily! We were amazed and just love our patio. They were able to raise the area so we didn’t have such a large step down so now being handicapped, I have no problem stepping over and out our Family Room! We highly recommend All-Pro Landscaping & Carpentry for your perusal!
