Front door and sliding door replacment
I'd stay clear of this company! The first week of August I had set up an appointment with this company for a quote. Justin came out and gave my husband the options and a quote. Since we were getting a few quotes we didn't give him the order right away The next week we called him and he came back to see me, double check the order and the order was signed. I was told 6 - 8 weeks from the time the second person comes out to double check measurements and the order itself. The second person came out in early September, I believe and did whatever it was that needed doing and the order was submitted, I'm assuming. I gave them a call in mid-October and was told it would be at least 10 weeks so I waited. Mid-November came around and I called again, we are now at the 11 - 12-week mark and I was told that they are running behind and they would have my doors December 5th. I called them back December 5th and sure enough, they were there. I set up the installed date for the following Monday and was told they would be there around 8 am. I called at 9 and was reassured they were coming and that they had to load the truck. I called at 9:30 and was told it was canceled, something happened to one of the installers. No apology, just matter of fact. I did book time off of work for this but that's my problem right? The installation department said they were trying to get in touch with me since 8:30 but my number was out of service, which is true I changed the number but they did have my husbands number so. The appointment was rescheduled for the following Monday (another day off of work) and at least this time they showed up. I opened my front door to -- " I think we have a problem" Explain to me how the sales rep comes out twice and somebody from the installation department to double check everything comes out and they still manage to make the door backward??? After all the waiting, to say I was upset would be putting it mildly. The good news was that they were going to have the door remade at their expense ?? WHAT? REALLY? Was I supposed to be grateful? I do have to say that my sliding door was installed, it looks great and is so smooth and easy to operate but you can buy that brand through other companies so that has nothing to do with Northern directly. The two installers were awesome and I would have them back in my home anytime. Long story short, I've not heard anything from this company since December 18th/ 2017.
