I just completed my first home inspection with Alan Glushko from Allmax and I must say that I was really impressed with his knowledge and expertise. Not only did he make the experience easy for me but he was very patient in answering all my questions. It was a great experience to have Alan do the house inspection for us. Alan was great with the inspection work, also very good at explaining things to us. Alan was very professional, he was very thorough in his inspection. Alan went far above and beyond the inspection, he gave me a tutorial on my home. My new home to be is 30+ years old and required a thorough home inspection. My expectation was an inspector who simply took notes and didn't say much, after all, the report woudl provide that information.

Alan conducted the home inspection with myself and my agent tagging along. Once he realized that neither of us had much idea of what does what inside a house, he adjusted and not only explained in detail what issues needed to be solved, but why they needed to be solved.

The inspection was not only informative but educational, interesting and enjoyable. Alan's attitude was friendly and he has a great sense of humour. Not only did myself and my agent enjoy the inspection, so did the owners of the house. This is extremely important in any inspection or audit as auditees tend to become defensive if they feel their space is being dissected. This was not the case and the home owners were completely at ease.

All in all a very good experience in all respects and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone I know.

Alan Glushko of AllMax Home Inspection provided me with excellent, speedy and extremely thorough service at a very reasonable price. Even though my home had been renovated three years previously to the highest standards, as a homeowner downsizing and selling my property, I wanted to ensure there would be no problems that I could have detected for a prospective buyer knowing that a home inspection is intended to minimize though not eliminate risk in buying a home. I was expecting to receive a perfect bill of health as I knew there were no major problems in the house. Though the inspection was intended to identify any major problems, in Alan's 68 page report that was extremely thorough and detailed, a list of minor problems were identified that I had not picked up after living 41 years in my home. Alan specified all the changes that should be made as well as several other recommended or suggested changes that might be considered. If you want to pass on your home in excellent condition to a new buyer, I was pleased to have them all identified. Corrections permitted the new buyer to purchase the house in confidence. I immediately recommended Alan to my daughter-in-law who is a real estate agent for a prestigious real estate service. In addition to excellent service and a thorough report, Alan is very pleasant to deal with, never rushed. He spent time explaining what should be done and why it should be done. It is a delight to work with such a professional.
