Alan is an exceptional inspector. I hired him for my 30 day and 1 year inspection for a new home. For the 30 day, he flagged major and minor deficiencies, as well as advice for new home ownership. Aside from walk through inspection, I also appreciated the heat scan and drone footage of the roof! When he returned for the 1 year, he also reviewed to make sure that deficiencies were addressed. I appreciated Alans meticulous method and care in his inspection. The Tarion report was also electronic and promptly available after inspection. All in all - fantastic service! Thanks Alan!

I called Allmax to source a nagging roof leak and suggest repairs methods. They were very helpful, used a drone, climbed the roof and inspected the attic. The repair advice was very succinct and easy to follow. Would highly recommend.

After contacting a few home inspection companies, we decided to go with Alan from AllMax Home Inspection who had been referred by a family friend. He accommodated us on short notice, working on a Sunday, which is his day off.
We arrived at the home about 15 minutes early and noticed that Alan was already hard at work, doing the external inspection. He was very thorough in his inspection, and when he was done, sat down with us and went through his findings, and answered each and every question to our satisfaction. He sent us a detailed report within hours of the inspection.

Ive always found Alan at AllMax to be a trusted source of advice when Ive had concerns about potential mold issues in my home. Ive had some water leakage around a couple of upstairs windows, due to faulty weather stripping, which may have been that way for a while. Alan took some air samples to test for mold and checked the wall for moisture. The air quality tests reassured me that I did not have a mold issue in the house, and the moisture tests showed acceptable levels. So the situation was caught in time and I just needed to fix the weather stripping, rather than replacing the window or opening up the wall. Also earlier this year a basement water shut-off leak, which may have been dripping for a few days, soaked a section of carpet and baseboards. I was able to arrange to have the leak stopped and the basement dried up, but was concerned that some delays I ran into may have created a mold issue, so I contacted Alan for advice. Alan made some recommendations and performed an air quality test showing that I thankfully didnt have a mold issue in the basement. Overall Ive found Alans prompt service and informed advice has saved me some anxious moments as well as thousands of dollars by avoiding unnecessary repairs, while ensuring the right steps are taken to resolve problems. I hired Alan to do an inspection of the attic and roof of my mom's detached home so that I could understand what was causing a leak into the living room chimney area. Alan quoted me a very fair price, and while other inspectors did not want to walk into the attic, Alan did not have an issue with it. On the day of the inspection, he did a very thorough job, and took pictures of everything. He was quickly able to diagnose the problem, explain the issues to me and make recommendations on how to fix. Alan was efficient, professional and very knowledgeable.
