Kingsley,
NO GUARANTEE is just that... NO GUARANTEE.
You called me to repair a roof leak, you did not know the condition of this roof. I drove from Richmond to your rental property in West Vancouver, checked out your old tar & gravel flat roof and informed you that the roof was in need of replacement and that i do not do new roofing, only repairs. So far this service was of no cost to you.
You then asked me if i could do a temporary repair because you were not going to do a new roof on your rental property at this time.
I explained that i could try to stop the leak but there was no guarantee that my repair would work and the cost was $500.
This was a chance you were willing to take, when most responsible landlord's would get another roofer to look at it.
This roof is leaking in an unheated carport, not even in the living area of the house.
When you called me and informed me that it was still leaking i replied that i could try and get over there but there is no guarantee on this type of repair and i was very busy with many other customers at that time because of very heavy rains.
In the following days you called many times demanding that i go fix your roof immediately. I would say borderline harassment, so i stopped answering your calls.
This seems like because you spent $500 that this is now your magic wand and you have me bent over a barrel, you are trying to shame me with a bad review instead of dealing with your problem and paying for a new roof.
You state in your review that you understand that there is no guarantee with this repair.
I'm sorry that you are not happy and your roof still leaks.
I'm a career roofer since 1979 and i guarantee almost all of the repairs i do.
Yes, i'm a one man company.
There are still over 30 testimonial reviews written by very satisfied customers that contacted me through Homestars.
Thank you.
