Turnbull Roofing is a great company from start to finish. They were professional, on time and clean up was great.
Chris, our estimator was very thorough in explaining the process and installers showed up when Chris said and were very polite to us.
Job well done...would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a new roof.

Reply to Company...Wish someone from the company other than the sales rep had contacted me. Allow me to clarify some incorrect information. I was not told before the flashing was added that it would be a rectangular addition and not the style that follows the brick. I was told this AFTER the flashing was up and I complained. Secondly I have an email in which I responded to sales rep re colour of flashing...when he said cream, I said same colour as rest of trims...beige. PS There is not part of my home that has cream coloured trim. Never did I say I would not pay for the job. What I suggested was that I withhold $500 until the flashing problem was rectified. Again this was relayed via email which I can provide to anyone who would like confirmation of this. Absolutely not true that I did not respond to sales reps contacts. In fact it was mostly my emails that initiated correspondence. Again...have them all if
you would like to see them. The matter of the flashing above the door that was promised to be replaced has never been addressed. I would welcome sitting down and talking with management or emailing them. You are welcome to come by and see the beige garage trim/door, eaves, windows, door etc etc. I feel someone has been less than honest with you Mr Turnbull...and it hasn't been me.

Contracted Turnbull after getting four quotes. Was very impressed with sales presentation and hired them. (quote was mid range of quotes received). Had Chris add replacing flashing to match news eaves, windows etc. It was added at no additional cost.
I think the roof was done well, however the flashing is terrible. It is the wrong colour (cream...my trim is sandstone beige). It was not explained to me that the flashing would be a giant rectangle and the existing flashing would be underneath. I thought replaced meant, well, replaced... When Chris came to have a look when I complained he agreed the flashing above the door was poorly done and would be redone. He said it would cost me several hundred dollars to replace the incorrect coloured flashing. I asked about removing the very intrusive flashing above the small peak and he agreed. I asked about caulking removal and he said they would try. Guess what...I have "lovely" cream stripe of caulking...no attempt made to remove. The flashing above the door was not replaced or fixed...it is not even the full length of the overhand...cut short.
I have paid in full...not a fighter but am very disappointed. Had recommended this company to a couple of friends, but no more.
I can only hope the roof was done better than the flashing.
Sales promises exceeded delivery...also left cheque in mailbox for pickup almost four weeks ago. Still haven't received receipt or the "transferable warranty" information. Perhaps it's not worth the paper it's printed on anyways...

We had Turnbull replace our roof. Chose them for the job as they were professional, patient, answered all questions and did not not treat or take anything for granted. Their staff/workers were courteous and efficient. Job completed as agreed and to our entire satisfaction. Super.

They recently re-shingled my roof and my wife and I are extremely please with their work and the safety measure they employed.

After searching through many roofing companies available in Ajax, Turnbull made it to tops on the short list. Once we had a presentation from Steve Turnbull himself, his professional attitude and educational approach - along with showing other houses in the neighborhood that had the same shingles we wanted - helped us decide this is who we wanted to do the job. Steve promised us a date to be completed and he delivered exactly on time. The crew was very prompt on the day they showed up and worked very efficient. They were even careful not to disrupt the baby bird's nest built on our down spout, as requested.
The clean up was spotless as if they were never here.
I would choose Turnbull again if I needed another roof.

Just had my roof done by Turnbull Roofing. From Chris coming over to my house and completely detailing the quote to Mark picking up the trailer the job was awesome.

I am very impressed with the high level of professionalism that the company demonstrated from the beginning to the end. From Chris, Steve to the crew, everyone was thoughtful and considerate. I felt that we engaged with a company that actually has heart and soul, and that it genuinely cares about doing a good job for its customers.

For home owners looking "up", it can be hard to tell whether a roof was installed properly. Judging by the care and professionalism that the crew put in their work though, I have every confidence that our new roof is as good as it can be!

It put my mind to ease that we can still contact the company should there be any issues down the road. For a company to be willing to stand behind their job, it shows both competence and confidence. Again this is very impressive and speaks volume about the quality of their work.

They may not be the least expensive, but for something as important as the roof over our house, quality matters the most.
