We recently had gutters installed and one of the seams got loose. We called Royal crown and was amazed as how quickly they came to rectify the issue. It was fixed in less then 24hours from the time I called them.

We had a downspout leading into the foundation of our home which needed replacement ASAP; while we were at it, we decided to also replace eavestroughs and install a rain barrel. This company is truly professional from top to toe. I want to especially commend Stephanie, who manages the work orders, communicates clearly and is always cheerful and accommodating. She explained the different options available and responded to questions promptly. As well, the gentlemen who completed the work explained each step to us and consulted us before making decisions. The property was spotless after their work. Really well done.

My wife and I quoted out a few aluminum contractors, and we felt that Royal Crown's quote offered the most value. We also appreciated the BBB and HomeStars ratings. However, it's always a bit of a gamble when you're trying out a new contractor.

For the most part, we were satisfied with the railings installed on our front porch. We were replacing old wrought iron railings and were pleased with the craftsmanship and aesthetic/appearance of the work that was done.

That being said, there were some issues with the process of booking that actual job. The estimate was booked and performed promptly, but for the job we were initially given a date and approximate time (we were told that the installation would arrive roughly first thing in the morning - between 9 and 10) - only to have the installers not show up by late afternoon, without a call explaining why. When I called to get an explanation (they were "running late with a previous job") and re-book the job, there was a communication mix-up, and I was given the wrong date on the second attempt. On the third attempt, despite my request for a morning installation, the contractor arrived at 1:30pm. In the end the job was done, but after 3 attempts, it was a bit disconcerting.

The other small, yet notable issue was with the on-site clean-up after the job was performed. After the contractor had left, I noticed loose screws and aluminum shavings all around the work area. I should have mentioned that we have small children, so a note to anyone considering using Royal Crown, please make sure the contractor has adequately cleaned up their mess before they leave - or be prepared to spend an hour with a Shop Vac yourself!!

Despite the two issues above, I'm still pleased with the work that was done, and hope that the workmanship and materials stand the test of time. Also, they were very accommodating when following up on touch-up painting, which was a plus.

Great customer service and helpful, skilled installers. A few minor issues with the final job prevent this from being a 10 but would still recommend their services (and may use them again for siding).

The guys were great came up with a fantastic solution for our issues. However they were a bit late arriving to the job and made an error in the layout however this error was promptly fixed. Would definitely recommend them to friends.

Not being the most knowledgeable about home improvement it came as a releif when the replacement of the eaves became such a simple task. Inspection of old eaves and working out replacement was timely and more importantly for me understandable. Quote came in via email the next day and I never felt pressured to make a decision. Glad I did though. House looking so much better for the new eaves and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

In the end they did a great job.
Polite, very knowledgeable and helpful.
They advised me on what i need and were also honest about things i didn't need to replace.
Well priced too. I did get a few quotes and they were the best.
Cleaned up after themselves too!

My only small complaint was that there was some confusion with who was coming to do what part of the job and at what time. I didn't understand there were different people to take care of different parts of the job.
I wanted to make sure i was here to confirm what was being done so i was home waiting for the guy who was just taking it all down and had to come back from work the next day to meet the installers.
BUT, over all great job and i would be happy to recommend to anybody.

I can't say enough about this company. Everyone involved was courteous, friendly and helpful. The installers did a great job, the cost was less than I expected to pay yet the work was better than expected! I've done alot of home renovations in the past couple of years. Without hesitation I can say that Royal Crown Aluminum is the best!
