Traian and his team are craftsmen. The quality of the result continues to impress us. As well, Traian shared his special expertise, helping us understand features and products that would make our kitchen work best and be most enjoyable. Finally, the team was always pleasant, polite and attentive to managing the disruption to our household that such a project naturally brings with it.

In the summer of 2012 we have been through extensive renovations throughout our house. We have to say that calling "Traian" was the best decision we had made, for our home. Our Kitchen renovation with (T.S. Kitchens) was finished in 2 1/2 days. With no complications nor stress, and was handled with great expertise. From start to finish the renovations went smoothly and with a smile. We highly recommend (T.S. Kitchens) to anyone. Because they take pride in their work, and aim for perfection. We didn't think, much could be done with our small Kitchen, but with Traian's design plan, and exact measurements, we now have a bigger Kitchen, with lots of cupboard/counter spaces. "Who wants to come home from work to cook in the kitchen?" I do! :) So, before you call anyone for your renovations, try; Traian! (T.S. Kitchens), is knowledgeable, dedicated, fast, friendly and affordable.

We called Traian to complete a half-finished Ikea kitchen reno, including design and construction of two customized cabinets, and repair of the previous contractor's unsatisfactory work (including making a new fridge built-in, levelling the cabinetry, etc.). Traian has done great work for us, and more generally has gone above and beyond in every respect.

Main points: Traian is a true expert (and his assistant Jose is great, too)---knows the ins and outs of Ikea and compatible manufacturers such as Blum; having experienced Traian's workmanship I would never recommend installing an Ikea kitchen without someone with his level of expertise---it makes a huge difference. Traian was of great assistance in designing the cabinets---we sort of knew what we wanted but he created them given his knowledge of the various constraints, and the results are fantastic---my husband especially loves his new "sous vide" station, with special space for his vacuum sealer and a sous vide sink, and I especially love my floor-to-ceiling stacked drawers (Blum) with a cupboard on top---at last I have enough room for everything.

Working with Traian has been a breeze, from the first contact, through his writing up a reasonable estimate, through his sending me an easy-to-order list of things to have delivered from Ikea, to his showing up on-time and completing everything within the space of just a few days. And as I say, this wasn't a "clean" job---he had to come in and work around or fix someone else's inferior work.

In addition to being highly skilled and easy to work with, Traian really went above and beyond in several respects. First, the previous contractor also left one of our walls and some of the ceiling unfinished (don't ask). Traian came in, saw it, and called Sorin, an interior renovation person, who I also can't recommend highly enough: Sorin came in, gave me a reasonable price, and got right to work drywalling and plastering the wall and ceiling, etc. All of these guys---Traian, Jose, and Sorin---powered through a huge amount of work in 4-5 days. Second, since the job was pretty intensive and they had other jobs to get to, they worked long hours and even worked on a Saturday. Third, Traian even used some of his own materials in order to save us money.

To say that we are grateful to Traian (and Jose and Sorin) would be an understatement. Speaking from experience, it's really hard to find good people---people who know what they are doing (instead of just doing what they know), who get things done on time and on (or under) budget, and are creative and nice to boot. These guys are keepers, and I'm already scheduling other projects with them.

Traian and his team were very professional. We love our new kitchen. Traian went above and beyond to make sure we had the best kitchen suitable for our needs. If we had any questions, Traian was just a phone call away. If I needed an adjustment made in the kitchen, he came without any hesitation. He even helped me with other things in the house that I had trouble fixing. Traian was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend his service. We read the last review about Traian and are shocked that the person had such a negative experience as ours was quite the opposite. Traian was always very pleasant and we did not have any problems during the entire kitchen installation process.

We have hired Traian to install our IKEA kitchen based on the stellar reviews; in fact not one was less than 10.
All these excellent reviews, are they too good to be true? Unfortunately YES.
Our experience with his work and condescending, outright obnoxious attitude was definitely less than stellar (maybe 1 star).
To start with, we agreed to pay him $400 + tax for his ‘custom’ design, which was only a slight improvement of the one that we created ourselves using IKEA free on-line tools and presented to him, and to add ‘insult to injury’ we had to ‘chase’ after him to get the design completed which took almost four days.
Finally with the design completed and his shopping list we ordered our kitchen from IKEA.
Our own contractor removed old kitchen and prepared the space for Traian to install the new kitchen cabinets based on his own specifications.
The estimate for installation of the all the cabinets was two to two and a half days maximum. Well three days came and went and kitchen cabinets were not finished. It took another two days to get there while Traian kept coming late, disappearing, and in between his frequent smoke breaks, we were not even sure that the job would get done.
It was essential that the installation would be completed so all the other work, such as plumbing, painting, electrical, etc. would be finished before we left on our trip as Traian was well aware of this deadline.
Our experience throughout this process exposed us to Traian’s temper tantrums and rude behaviour that should be unacceptable.
In the end we were left with a broken, unstable cabinet that he damaged stepping on it and tried to cover this up. Incidentally this was the only cabinet that he unnecessarily customized and neglected to tell us that no IKEA shelf would fit in it.
On top of it we discovered severely damaged glass shelf that he installed but never mentioned anything.
We have called him immediately and asked him to fix the broken cabinet. He tried to brush it off by saying that once the granite would be installed the broken rails would not be a problem. (?)
We did not accept this and asked him to fix it before the counter gets installed, which he reluctantly agreed to, but we have not seen or heard back from him since.
In a nutshell, all these great reviews are either ’paid announcements’ or else we dealt with Traian’s ‘evil twin brother’, in any case we would not recommend him to anyone that is for sure.
Very disappointed

Traian and his team took pride in their work. They answered emails promptly, worked on weekends to get the job done, modified installations when they would look better and become more functional, and importantly, were honest. Out of the approx. 30 trades that came through our house for our reno, he was at the top. Thanks Traian!

Can't recommend Traian enough. He's a consummate professional and I'll definitely be using him again. Traian did a complete kitchen Reno for us including some fantastic customization of the ikea cabinetry. I found him easy to work with, committed to quality, timely and a great communicator (which is often a rare thing in the construction world). We used the high gloss cabinets which aren't easy to work with and had several unique amendments - Traian made no complaints and got the job done to a high standard and on time. What's even more impressive has been his follow up - I hit a snag when my plumber installed the dishwasher - he came back and helped me fix the problem with no hesitation. It's been a real pleasure to work with someone with such passion and dedication. Thanks Traian

I can't speak highly enough of the work Traian did for us. We gutted our previous kitchen and bought new cabinetry from Ikea. When looking for a reputable installer we reached out to 4 or 5 companies that had positive reviews, including the official Ikea installer. (The official installers wanted cash to come out and give a quote, so we scratched them off our list straight away!) Of the remaining companies Traian's solid reputation stood out.

He certainly didn't disappoint! He did masterful work, including awesome custom work with our under-cabinet vents, he built out the over-fridge cabinets so they wouldn't be set too far back for our new (and deep) fridge, worked wonders around the sink's plumbing. Last but not least he was a magician when it came to filling in gaps using excess wood from the toe kicks, etc. These last finishing touches brought the final product up a notch, making the difference between having well-installed cabinets versus a beautiful work of art kitchen.

I was amazed how competitve his pricing was when I consider all the extra touches he provided. Traian and Jose were also super-nice, clean and positive. Exceptional talent and craftsmanship and we'll never use anyone else!

We had Kitchen renovated last year by Triana and his team. Because our place is a condominium townhouse located in downtown core. The space of the kitchen is very limited and shape is irregular. We like the IKEA gloss white kitchen very much, however it was impossible to fit the standized IKEA products into my Kitchen. Luckily, we found Triana on home star. We have to say Triana is a super IKEA expert. He knows perfectly well with all types of IKEA series and the most important thing is he knows how to twist them in the way that fits into your home!space! Triana is a very detail oriented person and the work was very
professionally finished. All of our friends who visited our place was amazed by the
quality of the work. We would highly recommend Triana to anyone who is looking to have a customized morden looking IKEA kitchen!

We hired Traian for design and installation of our basement kitchen! There are no words to describe how incredibly pleased we are! He is not only incredible at his work but takes pride and treats your project as if it were his own! Traian you and your team are the most courteous and efficient gentlemen we have ever hired and we look forward to working with you again! Do not think twice HIRE HIM!!!!! It's been an absolute pleasure!
