Andrew did an excellent job installing a customized front door for me. I first contacted him before the summer, and he immediately impressed me with his extensive knowledge of the various choices available for front doors.
He is highly detail-oriented and organized, ensuring that all my specific requests were clearly written into the contract. Three months later, when the door was finally installed, it looked absolutely gorgeous and stood out in my neighborhood. I strongly recommend him for any front door project.

Most of the door projects that we tackle have a turnaround time of around 7-10 weeks for production (during the season, and fortunately, a bit less during the offseason in winter), but some may take a little bit (or very rarely, a lot) longer. But so far, even with the doors that took a while to come in, I'm yet to hear from my clients that it wasn't worth the wait. :) Thank you so much for trusting us, for your patience, and for the interesting ideas!

Door and Lock

We were pleased with Andrew's service level and care throughout the process. We purchased our door and lock from the company many years ago.
Happy with the product however, had an issue recently. Nothing uncommon after several years of use. We reached out to Andrew and offered to drop by the same day. He is experienced and was able to identify the issue right away. While it required a new part, he installed a temporary fix to minimize any impact. He reached out to us to let us know when we could expect another visit. Provided flexibility with dates and times. Fix the problem and works great.

Thank you so much! The warranty on the door is for 10 years, and that includes the multipoint lock, of course. So, by all means, I'm happy to come out and deal with it if any issue ever arises. It only affects a very small percentage of our doors, even though, at this point, more than half of them are equipped with a multipoint lockset. I'm very glad that I have manufacturers who back their product so I can service my existing projects with minimum hassle for my clients.

New Doors

Andrew replaced our front door and side door. He and his team did a great job and were able to replace both doors for an old Toronto home in under 2 days. We have had the new doors for 2 months and are very pleased. Andrew is thorough and will walk you through all of the finer points of replacing your doors to make sure you get exactly what you want. It takes time, but is worth it.

They were not easy by any measure but so satisfying to pull off. I have probably 2+ dozen photos of the custom trim work that we did around the front door on the interior side, probably one of the more interesting fine carpentry challenges of 2023. Very tedious work (and I'm definitely glad that not EVERY project I deal with is that complex), but these are the kinds of projects that you are the most proud of when you flip through that finished project gallery. I'm yet to post it on my socials properly - can't wait to show it off. :)

New front door

I came across Andrews company on Instagram and called him to get a quote on a new door. From that first interaction, Andrew was honest and upfront about the process, timing, and cost. We communicated initially via email whereby Andrew provided several sketched options of what was requested as well as other suggestions to complement your home to provide you with a choice. We then met in person to finalize all designs/options. During the production process, Andrew called to manage expectations re: install date. On the installation date, he was on time, and the install was done well within the timeframe he provided. When he left my front door area was cleaner than when he arrived. Extremely satisfied with the end-product and will highly recommend his work to anyone.

I'm guessing a certain contractor, whose name starts with M, and the project installation was in Toronto? :) Hopefully, I guessed correctly. New Front Door

Im an architect, and was referred to Andrew by another architect. In my work I deal with a lot of contractors, and the best kind of contractor is the artisan. This is the person who really cares about what they do, almost to the point of obsession. This describes Andrew perfectly. He loves what he does and it shows. He built us a custom door, and throughout the process it was clear just how much he thinks about doors and hardware, and he enjoyed the challenges of our project. Highly recommended, hell do a great job for you.

Basement Window Installation

After doing such an incredible job with our front door, we knew we wanted Andrew to install our basement window. This required working with a mason to enlarge the opening before installing the new, larger window. Andrew connected us with an excellent mason, and the coordination between everyone was seamless. The window opening was enlarged one day, and Andrew came by the next day to install the window.

As usual, Andrew's communication and attention to detail were top notch. The install was done seamlessly and we are SO happy with the end result! We will continue to recommend Andrew for any door or window needs!
