Deluxe Alarms

A lot of positive reviews on here, but be careful as a new home buyer. As one positive the customer service now is much more helpful than in the past.

In a new home they installed the outlets in the wrong places much later than they said they would. They did the work post construction instead of pre-construction even though thats when they should have. They force you into a 5 year lock in to get installation, you need 90 days cancellation notice (ya 90 days, that's unheard of and just a greedy company), and any time they give you for free is not included in the 5 years so the 5 year lock in turns into 5 and a half years.

Really really shady practices and I would rather give my business to someone else. Read every line of the contract because they WILL NOT explain it properly to you and will take advantage.

In terms of the actual monitoring service I have had no issues and am very satisfied with that. Just don't want to do business with companies that employ shady practices.

Their service, response time and equipment have all been more than satisfactory. We leave our house and sleep at night feeling safe and protected. We've had technical issues that were easily resolved over the phone with an efficient and friendly representative.

I have been dealing with Deluxe Alarms for about 10 years and I can honestly say I have always been treated like family. The security that they provide and the comfort that I feel with them in my home means everything to me. Overall, the customer services answers promptly when I call/email them. I also dealt with the need for a technician to come to my home to fix the doorbell and he was able to analyze and complete the work on a timely manner as well.

Deluxe Alarms has giving my family and I a safe place to be, I have been with this great service since 2008. Any questions regarding our service have always been answered correctly by costumer service and their operators. I defenetly would recommend this product to any one to protect their homes but specially their love ones. Easy to use and understand manuals are always available on their website or just one phone call away. Great customer service and very fast response time for the monitor centre. Highly recommend. I was with deluxe alarms in a previous home due to a contract they had with the builder. I moved and went with Deluxe Alarms again in my new home. A+++++ in my books.

We moved into a new subdivision in North Barrie this past year and decided to get an alarm system with Deluxe Alarms. Overall, we are very satisfied. We did have a couple of issues that were immediately addressed to our satisfaction.

Excellent Service and professional people. from the call center that follows up with you to the technicians that perform installations, great quality and customer focused company! Would refer to everyone that needs an alarm for their home. They also provide many other great priced services.

Very good. Always on top when alarm goes off and love the new system with access through the app on our phones and your techs were extremely helpful in helping me get it set-up.
