We recently purchased a house that had a chimney (wood fireplace) in need of repair, and two side doors that needed to be replaced. The side doors were redundant, with the house having a front door and back patio door (the eventual plan for the house is to add an entrance into the attached garage). So we had them bricked up. The fireplace will be converted to gas, so we had it shortened and capped, rather than repaired. We contacted Bowman Masonry in the fall, and a quote was promptly provided. The quote was a fair price. Work was started in April (our delay), the crew were professional and took three days to get it done. We’re very happy with the whole process. We have some future masonry work to do and will have Bowman Masonry back to do that too.
